Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day marine operations to ensure smooth and efficient vessel movements.
• Coordinate with shipmasters, agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate port calls, cargo operations, and crew changes.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and company policies.
• Handle documentation related to shipping operations, including bills of lading, cargo manifests, and customs declarations.
• Manage and resolve any operational issues or emergencies that may arise.
• Collaborate with various departments to optimize operational processes and improve service delivery.
• Communicate with Marine Controller/Project Manager on operational matters, adhere to marine traffic management controls and provide alternatives on pending issues.
• Follow the SOP in place for channel control and movement of transfer barges and log down all events in the relevant record books during watch duty.
• Monitor and ensure that all transfer barges and craft follow the designated navigation route to and from the dumping sector.
• Maintain a good listening watch on required VHF channel and pilot handset (when required) and continuous communication link with safety Tugs.
• Report if any incidents that may occur i.e. Crane breakdown, hopper barge break down or injury.
• In the event of adverse weather conditions or emergency situations, notify all the parties involved, liaise with Marine Controller, deploy safety tugs to assist vessel till pilot and assist tugs arrive.
• Assist in other administrative duties required by Marine Controller/Project Manager.
• Other adhoc duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Store Manager in developing and executing plans to achieve brand, sales, and service goals.
• Assist in monitoring and evaluating the store's financial performance and collaborate with management to achieve budgetary goals.
• Support customer relationship-building and satisfaction, oversee merchandising and visual standards, implement service recovery strategies, and ensure smooth daily retail operations.
• Supervise, train, and support the development of team members in areas such as customer service, sales, and visual merchandising.
• Help manage inventory levels, stocking, and purchasing plans to support efficient store operations and sales targets.
• Monitor and control all operational cost to support store profitability.
• Work closely with the back-of-house team, including Marketing, to ensure cohesive store operations and successful campaigns.
• Support research and development of market opportunities, including tracking market trends and identifying growth areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store for customers.
• Assist in the hiring and training of staff to maintain a skilled team and deliver outstanding customer service.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Business Management or degree in any field.
• 2–4 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant managerial role, ideally within furniture or home decor.
• Experienced in supporting sales targets and strategic planning, with expertise in both B2B and B2C environments.
• Strong customer-focused approach, with great interpersonal skills.
• An engaging and motivational team builder.
• Sound knowledge of retail management practices and procedures.

Handle day-to-day Admin & accounts duties (MYOB accounting software & MS office) such as filing, data entry including answering calls, emails & correspondence

AP/AR/Issue invoice, HR duties (assist on payroll)

Any Ad-hoc assigned

Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Ability to manage multiple taks & prioritize work effectively.

Responsibilities for Data entry assistant

• Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders or optical scanners
• support in adhoc admin duties
• Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
• Verify data by comparing it to source documents
• Update existing data
• Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
• Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
• Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost
• Greet visitors and point them in the right direction, answer inquiries, and create a welcoming environment
• Organize and maintain files and databases in a confidential manner
• Manage communication including emails and phone calls
• Screen phone calls, redirect calls, and take messages
• Schedule appointments, meetings, and reservations as needed
• Receive invoices and review for accuracy
• Assist HR Manager on all related HR/Admin duties
• Team player to work in office environment

Qualifications for Data entry Assistant

• High school diploma or general education.
• 1-2 years of clerical, secretarial, or office experience
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Any additional certifications
• High degree of attention to detail
• Data entry experience
• Working knowledge of general office equipment

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Record all incoming receipts from various channels into the accounting system.
• Reconcile receipts with customer accounts to ensure proper allocation.
• Prepare and issue official receipts for all payments received.
• Ensure all receipts are correctly matched with the invoices.
• Handle the processing of credit card payments and ensure deduction in accordance with the payment terms.
• Handle insurance premium refund to the policyholders.
• Perform reconciliation of receipts with the bank statements.
• Maintain detailed records of receipts including supporting documentation.
• Liaise with agents on any payment-related inquiries.
• Handle and resolve discrepancies related to receipts.
• Any other ad hoc duties

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS

• Education: Minimum Diploma in Accounting or related field.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or similar role.
• Experience in handling receipts or accounts receivable is preferred.
