- Day to day networking and information collection with Japanese and foreign government agencies as well as private companies (Financial institutions, trading companies, electric power & gas companies, shipping companies, consulting firms etc.)

- Development, execution and management (examination, DD, negotiation, closing, PMI, etc.) of new investment projects

- Formulation of execution plan, valuation of new investment opportunities, preparation of proposal/approval document and presentation material for the target project

- Internal coordination and collaboration with relevant head office departments in Japan (business divisions, finance/accounting, legal affairs, etc.)

- Collaboration and progress management with various experts (lawyers, accountants, tax accountants, other consultants, etc.)

Carry out other duties assigned by Managing Director, Deputy Managing Director and General Manager as and when necessary.

Job Requirements:

- Master degree or equivalent is required

- Experience in energy industry for 4 years or more

- Experience in business development (project management) in energy industry is required.

- Good knowledge of oil and gas industries.

- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)

- Ability to communicate in fluent English to communicate with colleague and clients well.

- Ability to speak and write in fluent Japanese language is required to communicate and negotiate with Japanese speaking associates and clients and to report to headquarter managements and employees in Japan who cannot speak and write in English well.
