The FutureChina (FC) division focuses on trend watching, topical studies and content curation on China’s economy and international relations with Singapore and other countries. It is in charge of curating and delivering the Business China’s annual flagship event – the FutureChina Global Forum (FCGF), an international platform for business leaders and experts to share their geopolitical and economics views and assessments regarding China. Location: Kallang Junction

Working Hours: 9.00AM - 6.00PM

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the employee lifecycle from staff planning, recruitment, on-boarding to performance & talent management, recognition & reward, learning & development, demobilisation/exit etc.
• Partner closely with business and project leaders to provide advice and guidance on all HR topics (i.e. local labour regulations, organisational and people-related strategy)
• Business partnership to projects/ business units focusing on their HR tactical and operational needs (i.e. employee engagement, talent acquisition, international mobility, salary review, performance management and talent development) and ensuring adherence to regional and global practices and policies
• Being a HR Professional focal point for managers and employees at all levels
• Ensure the statutory requirement and compliance in line with labor law
• Support and coordinate with global mobility team and be the local point of contact for project’s transfers and missions.
• Support HR initiatives, programs, and projects

Requirements:

• Possesses good experience in HR without needing too much guidance beyond the initial settling into the new environment and work processes
• Someone who is independent, takes initiative and is hands on.

• Identify new business opportunities on a day to day basis through the company’s database, online portals and obtain leads
• Perform business development duties by meeting up with prospective clients to understand their recruitment needs and to build a relationship.
• Develop client portfolio
• Handle the full spectrum of recruitment activities from initial phone screening to contract negotiations in your target industry segments.
• Provide professional recruitment solution advice to your clients as well as to your candidates.
• Deliver congruent client strategy across APAC and lead innovative approaches to win and retain strategic clients
• Develop strategic global clients across the region in alignment with our organisational goals for global clients
• Drive high levels of performance and net fee income (NFI) through achievement of rights-to-trade, innovative solutions for clients and effective resource allocation
• Optimise midterm client opportunities whilst ensuring short term NFI and PBT goals are achieved through in-depth understanding of key APAC market drivers and consequently effective resource allocation (including, but not limited to recruitment consultants, client relationship managers and IT systems, business operations)
• Ensure that sales can be delivered effectively, client relationships are maximised and talented candidates consider us as their preferred choice by working with operational heads across the organisation
• Manage client relationship managers and targeted business units as required
