Job Summary
The Business Development Assistant Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth across Singapore and the APAC region. This position involves formulating and implementing strategic sales initiatives to enhance the company’s market presence, develop new business opportunities, and achieve financial targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies, preparing proposals for the APAC market.
- Collect and analyze market data, reporting on opportunities within energy, chemical, life sciences, and infrastructure sectors in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.
- Identify and explore new business domains and client relationships.
- Lead the operational development of sales strategies aligned with the company’s objectives.
- Collaborate across departments to compile winning proposals, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, managing multiple stakeholders.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders, including government agencies and industry partners.
- Work closely with internal teams to craft proposals that meet client needs while ensuring effective communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the Oil & Gas, Life Sciences, or infrastructure-related sectors, including involvement in projects valued at over USD 50 million.
- Strong knowledge of EPC project contractual practices.
- Technical expertise in energy, chemical, and industrial sectors is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, with a knack for creative problem-solving.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
