The Role

As a Business Development Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our business development, sales, and marketing strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-growing field of AI and Industry 4.0 while working closely with our team to drive business growth and brand visibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in researching and identifying new business opportunities.

• Contribute to market analysis, competitor research, and trend tracking.

• Support business development/sales/marketing activities, events and campaigns.

• Collaborate with the business development and marketing team to execute strategies and improve brand positioning.

• Help with lead generation and outreach to potential clients.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field with a local polytechnic or university.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

• Interest in AI, Industry 4.0, and emerging technologies.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

• Past related experience is advantageous.

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Internship duration should be around 6 to 12 months full time.

Roles & Responsibilities;

Ø Ensuring promptness, freshness, and quality of dishes.

Ø Coordinating cooks' tasks.

Ø Implementing hygiene policies and examining equipment for cleanliness.

Ø Designing new recipes, planning menus, and selecting plate presentations.

Ø A thorough knowledge of all aspects of the operations of a kitchen

Ø To be able to plan and delegate job tasks to the junior staff

Ø To be able to mentor and coach junior chefs

Ø Primarily to plan and direct food preparations

Ø Reviewing staffing levels to meet service, operational, and financial objectives.

Ø Hiring and training kitchen staff, such as cooks, food preparation workers, and dishwashers.

Ø Performing administrative tasks, taking stock of food and equipment supplies, and doing purchase orders.

Ø Setting and monitoring performance standards for staff.

Responsibilities:

• Collate and manage all the details regarding the application for the assigned business vertical– information could span from details of systems interfacing, content of the various data being posted, data held within the application etc.
• Support user community on business queries and guidance on better usage of the system on daily BAU activities.
• Clear understanding the scope of the project, the changes associated and support the Project Manager in impact assessment.
• Clearly document the rationale for projects where no impact is assessed.
