Summary
We are looking for an experienced digital marketer to work on the Mobile Digital Advertising team, focused on paid media strategy, planning, buying and optimisation for mobile gaming and subscription services. You will have both strategic and executional experience in digital media and have worked extensively on complex performance-focused campaigns across the globe for gaming/subscription services, with a focus on mobile.
As part of a Global Account Team, this roles involves working closely with local Marketing teams as well as International & Global leads to ensure our digital advertising programs are successfully planned, executed and analysed.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritise, adapt to change and multitask within a dynamic environment.
We are seeking an expert at analysing complex data to drive digital performance by managing and/or influencing activation, planning and client teams globally across multiple timezones.
Key accountabilities
- Global lead for one of our LoB’s for digital performance across one of the world’s leading mobile brands., reporting to the International Client President.
- You will be accountable for delivering on the business growth KPIs for the client globally across every market in which we operate, delivering the performance media strategy and acting as a business owner for these Lines of Business (LoBs), with senior client servicing responsibilities. This is a key senior role ultimately accountable for client’s services success globally, as well as growing the account and the revenue generated by these LoBs for Dentsu, by both growing organically and identifying new opportunities to expand the program
- Supported by an Account Manager directly reporting into this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of best-in-class strategy and planning, together with Strategy Lead and local planning teams, and ensuring execution by activation teams delivers on the agreed KPIs, delivering flawless and insightful reporting to key business client leads.
- You should have a passion for data and an eye for detail. To excel you will need a thirst to understand what drives results and as such be continuously striving to better performance.
- Ensure flawless execution of new campaign launches from the initial media planning phase to the campaign wrap up reports, leaning on activation and data teams.
- You will manage your direct team to ensure that resourcing and casting is to the agreed levels and high expectations and requirements for this client.
- You and your team will coordinate and collaborate with local planning/buying teams to deliver any locally implemented media campaigns that are briefed. You will also be required to collaborate closely with the international media and data hub team to develop media mix and tactical strategies, monitor results, communicate digestible insights, test and optimise and share learnings on a regular basis. We expect this individual to constantly analyse results to find opportunities and develop communication strategies based on customer insights.
- Ensuring alignment and adherence to global ways of working. This includes but isn’t restricted to taxonomy/naming, data analysis and presentation, reporting guidelines and keynote templates and standards.
- Accountable for operational and financial accuracy as well as timely delivery in terms of client billings and internal revenue forecasting for your LoBs.
- Communicating seamlessly and effectively with the international hub team to ensure process and information flow freely. This is a large and relatively complex global team architecture that requires navigational know-how and understanding of how to communicate with multiple lines of business and channel functions simultaneously.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in digital media, with extensive and demonstrated Mobile marketing performance expertise.
- Experience and expertise on mobile gaming, entertainment and subscription marketing.
- Experience developing media strategies across display, video, social, and SEM with a focus on performance optimisation for mobile.
- Strong understanding of and experience with programmatic advertising and mobile ad networks.
- Exceptional analytical and hands-on skills leveraging complex data sets required.
- Well-versed in the campaign planning process and experience managing large budgets across geographies.
- Expertise in media tracking, attribution methodologies, and a history of working with MMPs and analytics teams.
- Familiarity with ad-tech and mar-tech.
- Excellent client servicing skills, with demonstrable experience in building strong relationships with senior client stakeholders
- Ability to influence and work collaboratively and cross-functionally within a global organisation
- Strong cross-team collaboration and a demonstrated test-and-learn mindset.
- Skilled at translating information between business owners and media teams.
- Clear and effective communication and confidence in presenting your work with the ability to deliver impactful presentations at all levels of the organisation.
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, constantly evolving and dynamic environment.
