Work you’ll do

We are looking for someone energetic, curious and interested to learn about marketing, key accounts management and business development. The individual should also be proactive, organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a timely manner. Someone who is independent but also able to collaborate in a team environment. You will report directly to program senior manager and you will play a key role in assisting in growing our Chinese services group (CSG) program in Singapore & Southeast Asia.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing program strategies and priorities, organizing regular meetings, preparing financial and business analysis reports and ensure timely follow-up on action items
• Support the implementation of new strategic initiatives, manage priority accounts, and share insights across four service lines to drive business growth
• Conduct market and competitor research on investment trends in the SEA region, preparing detailed investment analysis reports for Chinese investors
• Support client meetings to develop business opportunities by leveraging the firm’s resources and comprehensive service offerings
• Collaborate with firm professionals to identify key service offerings and address client issues and challenges, providing actionable recommendations based on analysis and insights.
• Organize and manage market activities with key stakeholders, fostering strong client relationships to align program goals and drive outcomes
• Manage Deloitte SEA Wechat Account, including drafting articles, reports, and poly updates for Chinese clients across the SEA region.

Requirements

• Interest in the field of marketing, accounts management and business development for Chinese investors

Responsibilities

• Obtaining information from donors / team members, data entry of donor particulars, and issuance of tax deduction receipts / thank you letters to donors.
• Reconciliation of bank statements, petty cash balance and stock of groceries / vouchers
• Preparation of payment vouchers and other finance-related matters
• Maintaining proper filing of finance and admin records to facilitate year-end audit process

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Manage day-to-day finance operation, accounting and banking activities of a portfolio of companies to deliver the financial stewardship
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end financial closing with preparation of analytical review, cashflow analysis, accounting schedules and bank reconciliation
• Participate in planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Ensure compliance of financial records and controls with corporate, statutory & regulatory requirements
• Lead external audit and prepare Financial Statements
• Handle corporate secretarial activities
• Proactively document, review and suggest improvement to finance process and governance practices to stay effective and efficient
• Provide team leadership to guide and grow junior members
• Undertake assignments as and when required.

WHO YOU ARE

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related disciplines
• Accountancy qualification preferred
• 5 years’ working experience gained in finance operation, reporting and/or controlling roles within business environments with progressive finance practices
• Technically competent in accounting with working knowledge of financial control and corporate governance
• Meticulous and analytical, problem solver with a can-do attitude and a desire to excel
• Team player with good verbal and written communication skills to collaborate and influence outcomes

You will support and work in partnership with the local teams across several countries towards the ultimate objective of increase branding and communication both internally and externally:

· Supporting Marketing & PR activities for the Hub, including for Japan market

· Supporting on the content for external and internal communication

· Maintaining the intranet, gathering and creation of content on Distributed Generation (articles, illustrations, slides, internal network publications, videos etc), including liaising with the DG organization and REN / GRP

· Ensuring main DG APAC documents are easily accessible for a newcomer

· Putting in place new communication tools to facilitate onboarding and information sharing (virtual visits, surveys, videos etc)

· Coordinating events (sharing sessions, webinars etc)

• Handle full set of accounts and month end closing;
