The role

Rystad Energy is recruiting for an Event Marketing Manager based in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or Jakarta. This role will collaborate with various business units and country teams in the Asia Pacific to ensure the right mix of events as part of the overall marketing strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced commercial Account Development Senior Manager who has prior experience of generating new revenue from existing clients. Taking direct accountability for a cluster of global clients, the Account Development SM combines an excellent knowledge of the FMCG industry and a deep understanding of NielsenIQ products and services. You will be responsible for aligning key customer priorities and insights with NielsenIQ’s capabilities, identifying and converting opportunities to deepen commercial relationships and drive additional revenue.

You will develop and maintain effective relationships with individuals and teams both internally and with the clients, to provide best-in-class NielsenIQ/client commercial partnerships.

You will need to engage at all levels and work successfully across a matrixed organization structure, fully leveraging the service model.

Responsibilities

• Individual seller responsible for accelerating organic growth whilst delivering on revenue plans
• Own the commercial relationship with your clients, develop Joint Business Plans and a strong understanding of your clients’ business strategy, objectives and growth opportunities
• Devise a strategic approach with agile and flexible solutions that deliver value to our clients in a profitable way
• Deliver revenue plans by negotiating the renewal of contracts and continuous services with clients
• Identify sales opportunities for NielsenIQ services and solutions to help the client achieve their strategic objectives
• Own and deliver on global contractual commitments with clients
• Build and maintain strong networking and C-suite engagement with key players in the clients’ business, and lead discussions with a wide range of decision influencers and budget owners.
• Partner closely with customer success team to help deliver relevant insights/ thought leadership using NielsenIQ proprietary tools to key clients stakeholders and help drive overall NIQ sales through this engagement
• Partner and develop effective relationships with Market Sales Leaders, Customer Success and relevant teams in the region to enable them to achieve their targets

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, audit documentation, ESG sustainability reports, and variance analysis to meet reporting deadlines.
• Lead forecasting, budget planning, and cost management while providing actionable financial insights.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements, including GST, MAS reporting, and SGX announcements.
• Manage liquidity, oversee cash flow, authorize payments, and review reconciliations for accuracy.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and bankers for year-end audits and tax filings.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.
• Identify and drive process improvements in reporting, budgeting, and financial systems.
• Support ad-hoc assignments, including system implementation projects.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent, with CA, CPA, or ACCA certification.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience working in a Bank or Financial Institution.
• Strong knowledge of SFRS and Singapore tax regulations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent analytical skills, and leadership abilities.
