The Opportunity

The Project/Product Manager (PM)position is a part of the Global IT Department, which is directly overseen by the Group’s CIO. Our team currently comprises over 40 IT, software, and data professionals primarily based in Shanghai and Moerdijk (the Netherlands). Job Responsibilities:

· Work collaboratively with our global engineering team to deliver and improve industry-leading business applications in a highly iterative pattern

· Understand markets, competition, and user (both internal and external) requirements in depth; take ownership over specific business applications with a willingness to take responsibility for the end result

· Embody a quantitative and statistical approach to project and product management. Designing unbiased KPIs and other metrics to justify project/product outcomes. Regularly survey/interview users for product feedback.

· Responsible for taking projects through their entire lifecycle; refine promising ideas into project proposals for review; oversee the execution of projects, ensuring their quality and timeliness; conduct project retrospectives and documentation tasks upon project completion

· Promote a culture of organizational learning by facilitating knowledge sharing and implementing best practices in documentation; take ownership over our Confluence ‘Project Hub’

Requirements:

· 2+ years of experience as a product manager, project manager, or program manager at a software company

· An exceptionally strong communicator (written and spoken). Native/ professional fluency in English and Mandarin is highly desirable to effectively liaise with Chinese-speaking counterparts, understand their technical requirements.

· Highly logical, able to accurately sort problems/deadlines/features by highest impact/ROI

· Highly motivated, with a proactive approach to project ownership and accountability for outcomes and timelines.

This is a newly created role as the Company’s Group plans to set up a Shared Services Department.

The role holder, reporting to the Financial Controller, is responsible for leading and managing the Finance Shared Services Accounts Payable (AP) team to deliver quality services and improve the overall efficiency of AP operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the establishment of a Finance Accounts Payable Shared Services Department in Singapore.

• Proactively manage and monitor the Group’s Accounts Payable (AP) function to drive accuracy and timeliness of all transactions.

• Key point of contact for the Group’s Procure-to-Payment process.

• Perform monthly Suppliers Statement of Accounts reconciliation and accruals.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess the Following:

Qualification and Experience

• Qualified ACCA / CA with at least 8 years’ experience in Finance and 3 years’ experience in a leadership role

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong knowledge of AP processes with experience in setting up AP shared services.

• Knowledge of Esker and Vendor Invoice Management.

• Strong collaboration mindset as this role requires working with many stakeholders in areas of improvement, compliance with SOPs, suppliers and rectifying payment issues.

Job Description

1. Responsible to drive the development of long-term organizational strategy.
2. Responsible to coordinate Corporate Strategic Discussions on key initiatives/topics.
3. Responsible for monthly / periodic / ad hoc reports, business plan, budgeting and etc in Japanese content to Japan HQ.
