To achieve this, we work closely with like-minded supporters from a range of backgrounds.
You will be responsible for driving growth of the organisation through developing outreach strategies and closely engaging with supporters to contribute funds and volunteering efforts. You’ll be a part of our Resource Development team, who engages supporters from a range of backgrounds- from corporations to foundations, government agencies, churches and members of public from all walks of life.
You can choose from 2 job portfolios - either volunteer management or fundraising.
Fundraising Responsibilities:
- Execute all fundraising plans such as direct mail appeals, grant applications and fundraising campaigns and events.
- Collaborate with the team to develop innovative programmes and projects that resonate with donors and encourage their participation.
- Create compelling social media content to promote fundraising initiatives, generate interest, and drive donations.
Volunteer Management Responsibilities:
- Keep track of all donation platforms including access identifications and passwords.
- Ensure all data entry are up to date on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems for ease of exporting figures when needed.
- Filing and organising both digital and printed documents.
- First point of contact for donors and volunteers.
- Co-ordinate corporate volunteers’ requests, from start to finish mainly as follows:
- respond to enquiries on volunteer sessions available with on-going programmes such as PHW (Project HomeWorks), URD (Unlitter Red Dot), and any other upcoming volunteer programmes.
- communicate with Programmes Department colleagues to schedule and confirm volunteers’ sessions
- data input of corporate information on CRM and update accordingly
- arrange issuance of invoices and receipts
- meet with volunteers before and after sessions whenever necessary and possible
- compile feedback to improve internal processes
- send post session thank-you note
A successful candidate would be someone who:

● is driven, organised and results-oriented
● has excellent people and communications skills
● Is a strong team player
● is a tertiary graduate
● is fluent in written and spoken English
It would be a big plus if you:
● are not afraid to your hands dirty and work on the ground with us
● have a marketing / sales / business development / fundraising background
