DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Employee Relations: Partner with employees and managers to provide advice and counsel, identifies trends, issues and problem areas as they relate to employees. Recommend solutions, new approaches, policies and procedures to encourage continuous improvements in efficiency of the department and company.
- Performance Management: Encourage and ensure managers conduct performance discussions. Partner with managers to ensure employees are provided learning and development opportunities through constructive and thoughtful feedback. Provide input and guidance on taking corrective action, training/development, and promotions/transfers.
- HR Analytics: Administer, collect, and analyse data from reports, surveys, and provide meaningful summaries of findings.
- Employment Law: Develop, support and communicate policies and procedures. Partner closely with Legal and Compliance on any changes or updates. Ensure compliance with all legal employment requirements, documents and contracts.
- Benefits Management: Manage benefits administration and planning, conduct benefit benchmarking and recommend any corrective action. Able to provide input and advice to long-term benefit strategy.
- Immigration: Manage immigration requirements of sponsored foreign nationals and ensure global visa sponsorship compliance.
- On-Boarding and Off-Boarding of employees: Manage all on-boarding and off-boarding processes and procedures.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- CIPD Qualified.
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 3 years of HR experience.
- Experience working in a fast paced high tech environment or financial services environment.
- Experience managing significant HR projects from design to implementation.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Knowledgeable in all areas of employment law, and other local regulations and laws.
- Strong communication skills and first class interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
- Experience with MS Office products.
- Knowledge of HRIS and documentation systems such as: Workday, Microsoft SharePoint, and Confluence
- Ability to exercise independent decision-making and initiative to define and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated analytical skills. Strong proactive interest in learning/mastering HR best practices while improving processes.
- Knowledge of payroll and benefits administration.
