Group Human Resources (HR) Manager

($100k to $120K p/a)

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Group Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our organization. As an HR Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the HR department, including recruitment, talent management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and compliance with labour laws and regulations. You will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement HR strategies that support the overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement HR strategies that support the overall business objectives.

- Manage and oversee all aspects of the HR department, including recruitment, talent management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.

- Develop and maintain policies and procedures that ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee relations.

- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and making job offers.

- Develop and implement employee retention strategies, including performance management programs, career development initiatives, and employee recognition programs.

- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.

- Conduct employee training sessions on HR-related topics, including harassment prevention, workplace safety, and diversity and inclusion.

- Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.

- Manage the HR budget and allocate resources to achieve department goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in a HR management role.

- Thorough knowledge of HR laws and regulations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

- Experience in managing and developing a team of HR professionals.

- Strong organizational and project management skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.

Responsibilities

• Support your Manager to provide sales order fulfilment, delivery management and billing distribution services to business units.

• Responsible for processing customer orders, handling requests and solving issues relating to the entire Order to Cash end to end process.

• Fulfil sales orders, process sales orders and purchase orders and handle sales order inquiries

• Act as the key intermediary between internal and external stakeholders and CSS Compilers/SSC in providing excellent sales support to Business Units.

• Follow up on the status of delivery, billing, collection, payment, responding to customers and vendors queries, contributing to excellent customer relationships and ensuring smooth sales operations.

• Perform investigation on aged open tasks & ad-hoc tasks and ensure closure in a timely manner

• Drive local statutory and group compliance through monthly project reporting on sales orders backlog, unbilled revenue, work-in-progress stock, accrued expenses & ensuring that completed projects are closed in SAP in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Business, Supply Chain, Operations or relevant disciplines with 3-5 years experience

• SAP knowledge is preferred with experience in Project

• Experience on project financial accounting

• Experience in established Multinationals

• Good customer care and communication skill

• Ability to work independently and as a team

• Fluent in both written and spoken English

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Positive attitude and mindset for continuous improvement

• Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Word and Excel

Your Key Responsibilities

1. Assist the HR team in recruitment of office staff for Singapore office in consultation with the department heads concerned.

2. Maintain the company’s in-house HR Systems such as: Attendance Management System and HR Management System

• Manage staff’s attendance and leave records for payroll purposes;
• Maintain records of staff’s qualifications, competencies, skills and other personal data necessary for employment and in compliance with different maritime regulatory bodies;
• Maintain records of staff’s employment movements (i.e. confirmations, promotions, transfers, resignations etc).

3. Ensure timely implementation of company’s Annual Training Plan.

4. Process relevant work passes for all new non-Singaporean office staff and monitor expiry dates for the same to renew accordingly when required.

5. Maintain insurance records of employees as per company policy.

6. Process government-paid leave claims for eligible employees

7. Prepare monthly HR manpower reports to be submitted to the Management.

8. Assist in organizing events such as Annual Dinners, Family Days, etc.

We are looking for Professionals

• Has acquired Diploma or Degree – Preferably in Human Resource
• Has at least 1or 2 years of relevant experience
• With good administrative, planning and implementation skills
• With good English writing skills
• Computer literacy is a must
