Procurement Engineer / Buyer (One-Year Contract / Renewable)

Job Description:

• Manage the procurement activities of direct materials, including review and convert Purchasing Requisition (PR) into Purchase Orders (PO); resolve invoice, or quality related discrepancies.
• Sending requirements to suppliers : Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for information (RFI) using digital tools.
• Purchase price analysis and price negotiations; Identification and realization of savings potentials;
• Close cooperation with the stake holders and suppliers.
• Supplier management including supplier set up, supplier evaluation and development.
• Optimization of existing supply chain processes and participation in project teams.
• Leverage existing procurement processes and compliance while seeking to identify best management practices. Using a continual improvement mindset to create efficient processes

We are looking for:

• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related disciplines
• Min 2 years professional experience in a similar position;
• Knowledge of Procurement / Supply Chain activities with a broad solid understanding of operational, activities across a range of businesses.
• Previous experience of working in Supply Chain Management
• Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
