Working with the Manager, Human Resources and Administration, the HRBP plays the critical role of handling full spectrum of human resource functions that includes workforce planning, talent acquisition, learning and development, performance management, payroll and compensation management, employee relation and other relevant people operation matters. He/she is responsible in assisting with the day-to-day operations of the HR functions, and an effective HR business partner to the business leaders.
Workforce Planning and Talent Acquisition
- Work with Business Unit head to develop and execute recruiting plans.
- Guide business leaders in the selection of recruiting candidates.
- Take charge of the recruitment cycle process, in line with company policies and relevant legislation.
Performance Management, Learning and Development
- Develop and assist in meeting the employees’ performance indicators and performance goals of employees.
- Implement 360-degree performance review processes.
- Ensure training and development activities are effectively executed.
- Drive the learning culture of the company to ensure the learning and development activities are aligned to the corporate and business strategy.
- Oversee orientation and induction programs for all employees.
Payroll and Compensation & Benefits Management
- Analyse compensation data to drive useful insights for benefits enhancements.
- Assist in the administering of payroll and employee benefit programs.
Employee Relation Management
- Provide advice on HR issues as well as comprehensive HR solutions to organizational issues proactively.
- Serve as the initial point of contact to assist all employees in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures as well as relevant legislation.
- Handle employee relations matters, which include disciplinary issues, grievances, performance improvement plan and other issues concerning employee engagement.
Policy Review and Interpretation
- Review and recommend Human Resources policies that are aligned with the company’s business and corporate objectives.
- Ensure that the employee handbook is in compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in communicating company policies to promote understanding within the organization.
Projects and Corporate Support Operation
- Assist in leading the comprehensive Work-Life Harmony strategy through corporate health and sports activities.
- Assist in driving process improvement and operation efficiency.
- Assist in managing HR Documentation in relation to company’s ISO Audit.
- Support junior HR team members to develop their HR competencies.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management or similar discipline.
Work Experience Requirements
- At least 2-5 years of hands-on HR Operations or HR Business Partnering experience.
- Passionate in the development of others.
- Strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills to engage internal and external stakeholders.
