Group Finance Group Finance fulfils a dual role of governance and value-add in support of UOB’s performance and strategic objectives. We are responsible for the financial, regulatory and performance reporting of UOB Group, and fulfilling our mandate as stewards of the Bank’s resources by ensuring the right levels of controls and oversight over the use of the Bank’s resources. At the same time, we support senior management and the businesses by providing insights into the performance of the Group and its businesses and geographies in order to support enhanced decision making over both the short and long term in order to achieve optimal and sustainable financial outcomes for our shareholders.

Financial Information Management (FIM) drives the strategic roadmap for the Bank’s financial systems and partners with stakeholders and GTO Technology specialists to deliver solutions to support the growth of UOB. We aim to protect and enhance Group Finance value through optimizing the use of our systems and tools as we implement a controlled Finance architecture.
The candidate will be part of Financial Information Management (FIM) within Group Finance under the Change Management organization structure. Your key responsibilities include: • Assist to gather and document user requirements • Assess functional impact of changes to Finance applications • Assess the user configuration setup and mapping specifications required for application changes • Responsible for end-to-end User Acceptance Testing activities such as: define test approach, prepare test scripts and execute User Acceptance Test; analyses test results and ensure that reported issues are resolved • Assist to provide support in resolving post implementation issues during warranty period
Job Requirements: • Minimum of 2 years working experience, preferably in the banking/financial services industry and with exposure and participation in at least 1 major project • Fresh graduates with strong banking sensibility are welcomed to apply • Foundational knowledge of Financial Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards, as well as familiarity with the financial/regulatory reporting process and submission frequency • Experience in conducting UAT, logging errors and documenting test scripts, results and findings • Proficiency in SQL scripting, MS Excel functions including Pivot table is a must • Good understanding of Data Architecture, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence subjects • Possess good communication skills, a curious nature and strong ability in problem identification, variance analyses and issue resolution • Team player, meticulous and able to work independently and motivate others • Experience in performing UAT testing or Business Analyst is preferred.Group Finance

Job Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting / Finance/ Business or its equivalent professional certificates
- 3 - 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a project setting within Banking / Financial Services Industry
- Proven business analysis skills: experience in developing business requirements documents, test strategy and test scripts for User Acceptance Test is a plus
- Strong proficiency in SQL
- Good understanding of Data Architecture, Data Mapping and Data Warehousing
- Analytical and has aptitude for system related work
- Prior work experience as a business analyst with experiences gained in any of the following areas is a plus:
- Basel Regulatory Reporting
- Front-to-back projects for Trade Finance Products
- Experienced and confident in dealing with various levels of management
- Self-starter with resilience and resourcefulness
- Possess strong organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
