We are looking for a Manager with in-depth expertise and extensive sales experience in the Material industry to lead the business development of our Materials Business Division.

This position is responsible for leading the overall business development of the Materials Division based on his/her in-depth practical knowledge of mireral sand, semiconductors, mined materials, and biomass fuels, and will be responsible for generating new sales and establishing a stable base of business transaction, including but not limited to the followings;

Procurement and sales of new materials (ceramic moldeded products and plastic film products)

Lead the sales of various new materials (ceramic molded products and plastic film products) mainly from Japanese suppliers to electronic component manufacturers in Malaysia and Singapore.

Conduct close daily communication and advanced negotiation with Japanese suppliers and HQ to coordinate delivery, inventory and negotiation of business conditions to ensure stable supply of high quality products on schedule.

Procurement and sales of mineral products

Manage the procurement of mined materials from global suppliers and lead sales to users in Malaysia and Singapore. Conduct advanced negotiations, contracts, and logistics arrangements with suppliers and customers to ensure a stable supply.

Expansion of biomass business

Conduct research and analysis of potential new suppliers of biomass fuel to be sold to Japanese companies. By closely communicating with and understanding the demand of HQ and customers in Japan, develop stable suppliers that meet Iwatani group's strict quality standards in terms of quality, supply volume and logistics, and facilitate discussions toward business collaboration with these suppliers.

Logistics support for recycling of semiconductor components

Provide logistics support for the collection and recycling of semiconductor components sold by Japanese companies in Singapore. Coordinate schedules closely with Japanese suppliers and Singaporean logistics companies to ensure smooth and efficient collection.

Development of new investment projects

Lead the research and analysis of investment opportunities for the purpose of securing resource interests and developing new materials to further expand Iwatani group's materials business globally.

Budget and performance management

Establish budgets based on the medium and long-term strategies of the Company and HQ and manage monthly, semi-annual, and annual results. This position is required to report to MD on future prospects and measures, and directly report progress to appropriate business units at the HQ as necessary.

Job Requirements

1) Minimum of 5 years experience in a materials related trading company covering not only ASEAN but also China and Australia region. Successful candidates is expected to have experience in handling at least two of the following materials: rare-earth metals, mineral sand, ceramic molded products, resin raw materials, metals and chemicals.

2) At least 5 years of experience in procurement and logistics in the above material related business.

Successful candidate must have a high level of negotiation experience with suppliers in ASEAN and Japan.

3) At least 5 years of experience in client handling and sales negotiation in sales dept in the above material related businesses. The appropriate candidate must have working experience in high-level negotiations, especially with Japanese clients.

Successful candidate should have a proven track record of achieving sales of over 1 billion USD.

4) More than 2 years of experience in overseas resource development, including conducting research on potential investment and financing opportunities, leading due diligence process with external advisors, negotiating and drafting agreements as a project manager.

Successful candidate is required to have a proven track record of executing a investment of USD 20 million or more.

5) At least 5 years of hands-on experience in international trading (import/export)

6) At least 5 years of experience in budgeting, planning and management in a sales or sales administration department of a listed company or a company with a global operation

7) Business level of both English and Japanese (JPLT N1 or above) language skills in order to make advanced-level proposals, negotiations, and presentations to our key customers, both local and Japanese.

Responsibilities (Work Scope):

• Develop and implement SCCC’s programmes and be accountable for delivering project deliverables that are in line with established SCCC strategic priorities and programming pillars. These responsibilities include managing and monitoring the progress of projects; planning timelines and milestones to meet deadlines; allocating and monitoring project budget and expenditure; coordinating vendors, partners and project teams; calling for tenders; procuring goods and services; delegating duties and logistical arrangements; and evaluating project deliverables.

Requirements:

• A degree in Arts Management, Humanities, Chinese Studies or Communications.
• Minimum of at least 3 years of relevant work experience in the arts or cultural sector, and/or programme and events management. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply;
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin, with strong proficiency in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and translation of text into Mandarin;

Specific Working Management Hours:

● 6 x 6-hour work blocks across the week (1 block per day Monday -

Saturday, totalling 36 hours), pre-agreed with the line manager.

● Working blocks are 8am-2pm or 2pm-8pm

● Tuesday and Thursdays working blocks will be 2pm-8pm

● A maximum of 1 block can be carried out in 1 day.

● If a block falls on a public holiday, the individual is not required to

work. However, if working on this day is operationally necessary, the

manager will receive time off in lieu (time in lieu must be planned

and approved by their line manager at least seven days before the

event).

● If the manager is requested to work during times outside their

blocks, then they will have compensatory time-off in lieu - this will be

at the line manager's discretion.

● The Manager will not receive additional compensation for client-

facing services completed during registered working blocks but will

for sessions completed outside of these hours.

● A weekly schedule of working blocks will be set in collaboration with

their line manager every quarter, and communicated with all

Annual Leave:

meetings directly at pre-agreed times.

● Optimize client retention through ongoing community management

and daily tasks, communicating with all clients at critical points

during their programmes, including but not limited to two-week

check-in, end of the programme, key milestones/successes, and

operations changes that impact the client (i.e. trainer departing, etc.)

● Management and onboarding of all new corporate groups and

classes that drive fitness revenue into the location P&L.

● Regular communication and collaboration with the UFIT Senior Rep

at your location to ensure the highest customer service and

administration standards possible.

● Manage all incoming program freeze requests which sit outside the

boundaries set out in current UFIT terms and conditions.

● Manage a team to achieve revenue forecast goals for Personal

3. Human Resources:

● Lead and manage a team to be engaged with the UFIT brand and

5. Recruitment:

● Provide on-site induction and training for new hires as required.

work at the hub

6. AHPC Coordination:

● Through the MD of H&F provide guidance and support for AHPC

qualification and registration.

● Facilitate AHPC supervision within the hub health team as required.

Compensation & Performance Bonus:

4. PT Commissions

● Fitness Coaching pay shall be calculated as 44% of all Earned

Revenue.

● The manager will be eligible to receive an additional discretionary 2%

of all Earned Revenue for every 12 months of service with the

Company completed, as calculated from the commencement of your

service with the Company.

● The Manager will earn a further 2% of earned revenue commission

while in the manager role. This additional 2% will be removed if the

manager resigns or returns to work as a full-time coach.

● Clauses (a) and (b) above are subject to a cumulative total of 60% of

all Earned Revenue.

Job Description

Retail Operations Management:

• Oversee daily operations of the HPVOM store to ensure seamless and efficient management.
• Manage stock levels, replenishments, and merchandising to optimize sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Enforce health, safety, and compliance standards in accordance with local regulations and company policies.
• Utilize POS systems and other tools for monitoring sales, tracking performance, and streamlining store operations.
• Maintain high standards of store presentation, including cleanliness, merchandising, and staff appearance.

Sales and Customer Experience:

• Create a customer-centric environment, ensuring all staff deliver exceptional service.
• Analyze customer feedback to identify areas of improvement and implement actionable solutions.
• Drive customer engagement by promoting NEON’s brand story and enhancing the overall shopping experience.
• Plan and execute in-store promotions and product placement strategies to increase sales.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor the retail team, including supervisors and front-line staff, to achieve organizational goals.
• Recruit, onboard, and train team members, ensuring alignment with NEON’s values and service standards.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, establish clear objectives, and provide ongoing support for professional development.
• Foster a collaborative and motivated work environment, encouraging effective communication and teamwork.

Financial and Inventory Management:

• Monitor store budgets and expenses, ensuring adherence to cost control measures and profitability targets.
• Conduct routine inventory audits to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent overstock or shortages.
• Collaborate with vendors for timely delivery of supplies and negotiate favorable pricing agreements.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends, forecast demand, and improve store performance.

Job Requirement:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in retail management, preferably within a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.
• Performance: Demonstrated success in retail operations, leading teams, and consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in POS systems and retail management software, with a strong understanding of operational tools.
• Financial Skills: Strong financial acumen, including experience in budgeting, expense management, and profitability analysis.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities to effectively lead and inspire teams.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
