ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting the Operations Manager to work with chefs and other personnel to plan menus that are flavourful and popular with customers.

• Work with chefs for efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies.

• Estimate food and beverage costs. Supervise portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste.

• Perform frequent checks to ensure consistent high-quality preparation and service

• To hit all financial targets

• To lead the team on each shift and ensure the company service standards are upheld

• Work with other management personnel to plan marketing, advertising, and any special restaurant functions

• Direct hiring, training, and scheduling of food service personnel

• Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service

• Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs using the Point of Sales system

• Ensure sufficient stocks of supplies in the restaurant for smooth operation

• Safe keeping of company properties

• Assist in sending daily sales report

• Assist in operation to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Min GCE ‘N’ level or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and management skills

• Passionate about providing excellent management and interpersonal skills

• Able to work independently and in a team

• Designing, managing, and evaluating marketing campaigns
• Directing social media engagement strategy
• Managing budgets for marketing campaigns
• Collaborating with advertising and creative departments
• Reviewing advertising material for print and digital media
• Preparing advertising contracts
• Performing market research to find new opportunities
• Managing marketing department employees
• Analyzing market trends and conducting competitor research
• Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and drive qualified traffic to our front door
• Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
• Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
• Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
• A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
• BSc/MSc degree in Marketing or related field
• Must work on weekend and public holidays.

• Train, orientate and monitor new service staff
• Assist management in sales building and maintain strict cost control
• Set service standards for the restaurant – greetings, up sell, friendliness, etc.
• Attend to guest service or dining area issues promptly and effectively
• Prepare weekly work schedules for all service staff, including part-timer
• Oversee and supervise the staff and make sure they discharge their duties
• Responsibly and according to all the guidelines as set out
• Temporarily assist in the role of Waiter/Waitress, Cashier, Food & Drink Runners whenever necessary
• Ensure overall cleanliness of the entire restaurant dining area and outside areas of the restaurant
• Any other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Hospitality Management or related field of study.
• Must have at least 4 years of relevant working experience.
• Must be able to build teamwork and work with diverse people.
• Able to work for 6 working days.
• Able to work on weekends.
• Able to work in fast paced environment.
• Ability to uphold a positive team environment
