We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager, Human Resources, to oversee and lead the HR and administrative functions within our manufacturing organisation. The successful candidate will play a strategic and hands-on role in ensuring efficient operations, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support business objectives.
• Support the HR Manager on overseeing all HR and administrative functions, including managing talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, remuneration & payroll processing, training, workforce planning, recruitment strategies, employer branding, providing guidance and setting performance expectations of the HR Team.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Oversee onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
• Monitor and manage employee relations, performance management, and career development initiatives.
• Supervise attendance tracking, leave administration, and timesheet verification.
• Administer employee claims, benefits, and welfare programs.
• Monitor and analyse HR metrics, providing insights to improve processes and employee satisfaction.
• Support management, HODs and employees by providing HR consultation and advice.
• Lead and manage employee welfare.
• Render support to ESG & Safety consultant on safety initiatives to ensure a supportive and secure workplace environment.
• Oversee and liaise with external vendors to ensure effective delivery of security services and adherence to company standards.
• Undertake other assignments as directed by senior management.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience, including team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, Employment Acts, and regulations.
• Proficient in HR system and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proven experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
• Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Candidate with RBA & Security experience will be advantageous.
