Deutsche Bank is exposed to a wide range of risks every day. It is the responsibility of the Chief Risk Office (CRO) to identify, aggregate, manage and mitigate these risks. Credit Risk is a centralised risk-type function within the CRO function. The team is primarily responsible for providing credit approvals for single name credit risk, setting credit limits and monitoring and managing these in the context of the bank’s Enterprise Risk Management framework. The team provides deep technical expertise to the business aligned risk functions and facilitates strategic business decision-making to improve overall use of the bank’s capital and minimize loan losses.

The role involves working with a team of credit officers covering North Asia credit which is an important part of Deutsche Bank’s Asia growth strategy. Your key responsibilities:

Conyers is a leading international law firm and corporate services provider advising on the laws of Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, and the Cayman Islands, from offices in those jurisdictions and in the key financial centres of Hong Kong, London and Singapore.

As part of the Global Compliance team and reporting to the Senior Manager, Risk & Compliance, the successful candidate shall play a key role in assisting Conyers licensable businesses meet and comply with the related Acts, Regulations and Guidelines applicable to their businesses, including those related to anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing (AML/ ATF) controls across multiple offshore jurisdictions, professional services and risk management. He/she will ensure that all aspects of the overall AML/ ATF and compliance programmes are carried out in line with Conyers global policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will assist the Compliance team in all matters relating to AML/ ATF and Sanctions in regard to on-boarding and ongoing monitoring, including transactional activity in support of Conyers customer due diligence (CDD) and risk management framework. This role would be ideal for someone who is keen to start their career in AML/CFT.

What Will You Do

• Assist with periodic compliance reviews
• Respond to internal queries providing guidance and advice on matters relating to Know Your Customer (KYC) and CDD for new and existing customers, and general AML/ ATF activities for customers across all levels of risk
• Analyse ongoing customer screening alerts related to Economic & Trade Sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and Special Interest Persons; research and provide detailed investigation documentation, and escalate as required
• Identify and document transactions or individuals that present potential money laundering/ terrorist financing risk and raise instances of suspicious activity to the attention of the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO)
• Assist as required in the completion of various compliance reports for management
• Become familiarized with regulatory regimes in multiple offshore jurisdictions
• Any other ad hoc duties or projects as may be reasonably assigned

What You’ll Need

• Minimum diploma or university degree in a related discipline – Desirable but not essential
• Fresh graduate or up to 1 year related experience with prior exposure to a legal, corporate services and/or regulatory environment preferred
• Strong analytical skills with proven attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of discretion and confidentiality of customer information
• As the role requires reviewing documents in Chinese, the ability to read and write Chinese is essential.
• Must be a team player with a collaborative approach to problem solving and willing to assist other team members as and when needed
• Reliable and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Strong time management skills, flexible, and able to meet tight deadlines
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, proficiency in the use of open source information tools and working knowledge of database management software is an asset.

Role Overview:
The Business Analyst will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of innovative digital solutions that enhance how customers purchase, self-serve, and interact with digital platforms. Key Responsibilities:

Skills & Experience:

• Degree or equivalent qualification.
• 6+ years of experience in digital delivery within a Business Analyst role, ideally in an Agile environment.
• Prior experience in the insurance industry and with insurance products.
• Strong technical business analysis skills with a focus on system interactions, mapping, and documentation.
• Strong understanding of the claims lifecycle process.
• Good to have any Formal Business Analysis and Agile certifications
• Understanding of product/platform lifecycle management, particularly in web/mobile technology, with a focus on user journeys and customer experience.
• Knowledge e-commerce, customer servicing and digital sales is a plus.
• Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Projects, and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex business issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment, managing tight timelines and evolving priorities.
• Ability to independently drive initiatives, think strategically, and lead cross-functional teams.
