We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing complex financial data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive strategic financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data analytics to optimize financial processes, enhance business performance, and support overall company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist in preparation of budgets, forecast, and re-forecast.
• Track departmental actual and budgets, identifying risks and opportunities.

Financial Modeling:

• Maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making processes.
• Update financial actuals in the financial model. Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess potential financial outcomes.

Project & Product Costing:

• Develop and maintain accurate cost models for projects and products, including direct material, direct labor, indirect labor, and overhead costs.
• Track the actuals costs against the bill of material forecast. Analyse cost structures and provide recommendations for cost optimizations.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams from subsidiary entity to enhance yield performance.

Reporting:

• Prepare and monthly financial analyses related to financial statements and produce/project profitability. Provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.
• Assist in preparation monthly and quarterly board meeting slides.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to measure business and departmental performance.

Process Improvement:

• Identify and implement process improvements in finance department.
• Work with cross-functional teams to introduce structured processes and automations, while ensuring data accuracy.
• Support team in SAP adoption and system implementation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Proven experience in financial analysis and data interpretation for 2 years (minimum).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level) is a must. Proficiency in ERP system such as SAP B1, is good to have.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.

This is a healthcare application:

• Mobile application (iOS and Android)

What will you do?

Support the development and business teams in unit testing and archiving data, engineered features, and algorithmic inputs/outputs throughout the data pipeline and to support analytics.

Proven experience as a data engineer/ data analyst in mobile app development projects and administrative dashboards.

1. Create unit tests throughout the data and algorithms domain:

• Work with engineering and business teams to implement wide-coverage unit tests of data and engineered features at different stages throughout the data collection and processing pipeline
• Create unit tests of inputs to and outputs from the algorithms that drive the clinical service
• The unit tests include validation of the inputs and outputs of black-box machine learning algorithms
• Establish a regular process to execute the tests and document their outcomes as a part of our product development and release lifecycle

2. Implement and refine mechanisms to continuously archive the state of algorithmic inputs and outputs:

• Implement a process of taking snapshots of data/features input into algorithms necessary to recreate their outputs/predictions at any point in the past during the service
• Communicate requirements to the software development team

3. Assist in the successful elivery of regular service analytics and reports:

• Support the business and analytics teams in their daily and weekly delivery of reports on data completion, user engagement, and algorithm actions by addressing any data quality and validation requirements.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, business analytics, technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or data product management roles within the tech industry. Experience in healthcare is a plus.
• Ability to implement tests in Python.
• Experience in machine learning algorithms
• Good understanding of the validation requirements of an algorithmic product. Knowledge of healthcare regulation and auditing requirements is a plus.
