Department overview
Nomura is currently in the process of establishing a new Global Sourcing function to operate across Nomura Group companies, regions and functions to deliver an ongoing contribution to cost efficiency and commercial/contract risk mitigation associated with vendor engagements, and drive efficiencies through spend category commercial support, vendor/contract consolidation and Group-wide economies of scale.

Role description
Working as part of a Category team that operates as part of an overall Global Technology Sourcing team. Making an ongoing, tangible contribution to cost efficiency and commercial/contractual risk management, through:

• Supporting the Global Sourcing Category Lead – Network and Infrastructure in developing the overall spend category strategy in partnership with key stakeholders and managing the effective delivery of that strategy
• No direct reports however there will be some workload oversight of, and close collaboration required with members within the Global Sourcing team located in numerous Nomura regions
• Managing and/or providing oversight to category-wide efficiency and governance initiatives

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge require

• Degree level qualification or equivalent
• CIPS or other professional Sourcing/Procurement qualification desirable
• Minimum 10+ years of experience of sourcing the relevant spend categories in a blue-chip environment, with some experience of Category Leadership and a proven track record of successfully leading commercial and contract activities, including:

o Supporting the Global Sourcing Category Lead – Network Infrastructure, and leading the development and maintenance of strategic Category-wide plans and initiatives in conjunction with stakeholders

Manage medical process and other admin process (refund, policy contract and CPF)

Responsibilities:

• Onboard of panel of medical doctors for insurance examination; handle enquiries from internal staff and clinic; manage feedback on service delivery.
• Mange the payment and reimbursement process for medical examination (ME) including offshore medical provider.
• Handle requests for attending physician statements (APS) including billing and follow up on completion.
• Handle administrative matters relating to digital medical examination.
• Handle contract fix it and policy contract listing daily; ad hoc request for hardcopy contracts.
• Handle refund of premium.
• Handle CPF OA, SA, SRS application.
• Manage projects or tasks as assigned by the supervisors

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Business Administration / Banking and Finance
• Competency in PowerPoint and Excel skills

Responsibilities

· Understand and assess the entire testing life cycle for Product implementation and the core life operating system including end-to-end quality checks.

· To perform user acceptance testing for product launches and product enhancements in accordance to business and operational requirements.

· To ensure proper closure of the entire testing process within the stipulated timeline and to report to the Supervisor of any issues

· To properly document and file testing artefacts and documents into retrievable repositories.

· To prepare test data, monitor testing progress and to log defects.

· Ensure proper closure of the entire testing process within stipulated timelines.

· Escalate gaps and defects or issues discovered during the course of executing the various test scenarios to the Supervisor and/or the Project’s UAT Test Managers and ensure correct reporting, analysis and resolution is obtained from IT.

· Work with Supervisor and/or the Project’s UAT Test Managers and IT in coordinating the execution of the agreed test conditions within the overall planned timeline.

Skills/Requirement

· Polytechnic diploma / University Degree.

· 1 year of working experience with BFSI domain will be an advantage.

· Preference for IT or Business related educational background.

· Strong problem solving and good analytical skills.

· Strong attention to details.

· Good time management and the ability to work to tight time schedules.

· High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.

· Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
