We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Business Analyst to support the implementation of NetSuite for a leading client in the telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and ensuring the seamless deployment of NetSuite. With a deep understanding of business systems and knack for problem-solving, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and optimize system functionality.

The Role

· Gather and document business requirements to configure NetSuite to meet organizational needs.

· Analyze current business processes, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements using NetSuite solutions.

· Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, supply chain, sales, and other functions to ensure NetSuite aligns with business objectives.

· Configure and customize NetSuite modules to support business workflows.

· Conduct data migration, including mapping, cleansing, and validation.

· Develop and deliver reports, dashboards, and analytics within NetSuite.

· Provide end-user training and create detailed documentation to facilitate user adoption.

· Troubleshoot system issues and liaise with technical teams for resolutions.

· Monitor project milestones and timelines, ensuring deliverables are met on schedule.

· Support post-implementation activities, including system upgrades and optimization.

Your Profile

· Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, specifically with NetSuite implementations.

· Strong understanding of NetSuite modules, including Financials, CRM, Inventory, and Order Management.

· Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify process improvements and develop effective solutions.

· Proficient in creating workflows, custom records, and reports in NetSuite.

· Experience with data migration, integration tools, and APIs is highly desirable.

What you’ll do

The Financial Reporting team strives to be Marketing's centre of excellence for efficient and effective Record to Report (RTR) processes while driving optimization on processes & implementing robust controls to capture accurate business and financial information in accordance and within the framework of accounting policies across all commodities in Marketing entities.

Reporting to the Team Lead – Financial Reporting, the Analyst supports the Accountant in performing the month-end closing and financial reporting activities for the Platinum businesses and works closely with other stakeholders to support the timely delivery of quality data within agreed timelines.

From time to time, the Analyst may be involved in ad hoc finance projects and business initiative and represent Finance Reporting team in providing input to enable the capturing of accurate business and financial information for the RTR processes and will also work closely with Information Management Department to deploy technology to automate finance activities.

Lastly, the Analyst plays an integral role in supporting a continuous improvement culture within Finance.

KEY TASKS

Drive efficient and effective Financial Reporting

· The Analyst helps to drive the engine room of the Finance Reporting team, making sure that transactions are appropriately accounted for, perform month end tasks and reconciliations, and duly reported. All this will need to be done within the framework of our financial controls and accounting policies, and the role works closely with Risk, Group Shared Services and the wider Finance teams to formulate, implement and operate robust controls and ensure documentation of key processes within Financial Reporting.

Deliver on-demand information

· The role plays a key role in making information available on-demand to support commercial decisions and new business initiatives. It works closely with the Finance Business Partners and other stakeholders around the group to determine data requirements and is responsible for managing the systems and processes to capture and deliver them as efficiently and accurately as possible.

· Supports coordination and collection of performance information from all relevant sources and delivering Monthly Financial Statements and other regular information as required by the Marketing Business, Production Business Units or Group Finance.

· Manages information through relevant systems, ensuring that data interfaces lead to traceable, reconcilable and well-supported financial information.

· Works with the Business Partnering and Corporate teams to design and implement the technical accounting logic to align data streams with business activities from performance and financial reporting perspectives.

Technology transformation

· Working closely with Information Management (IM), the role looks to implement technologies that improve control, increase information available for the business and automate transactional activity as much as possible, freeing up the team to add value elsewhere. It needs to think differently about the work Finance does and how it gets done, including the elimination of manual journals and recons as a cost to quality.

· As we implement new systems, the role needs to establish appropriate processes for defining user needs and managing UAT for the Finance department, ensuring that accounting logic and financial controls are appropriately captured.

Continuous improvement

· Create ways to measure and manage how well we perform as a team. Amongst the team, this role creates a culture that actively looks to improve workflows and processes, minimizing control weaknesses while increasing speed and accuracy.

· Optimise links between SAP, Aspect, HFM, Blackline and other systems to ensure information is available as and when required.

· Design and improve processes around the systems to streamline efforts required to input and extract data.

· Drive standardisation and automation of processes via continual improvements.

· Proactively engage on learning and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

· Undergraduate degree in Accountancy or business-related subject.

· Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills

· Familiar with financial accounting systems such as SAP/Blackline/Hyperion will be a plus

· Hands on experience in performing financial reporting and month end closing activities in an MNC setting

· Prior knowledge working in commodity industry will be a plus

· Familiar with using trading systems (Aspect) will be highly regarded

· Good interpersonal skills and strong team player

· Possess strong financial and analytical skills and attention to detail

· Ability to deal with some ambiguity in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment and willingness to challenge status quo and explore new ways of working

· Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma would be advantageous.

· Familiar with collaborative and innovative ways of working such as Agile would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on analyzing and providing best solution on complex technical issues in timely and efficiently;

• Engage with various teams on resolution and maintain effective communication between stakeholders;

• Manage vendor performance through service level management;

• Enhance existing support process to maintain/improve service level and quality;

Skills/Requirement

• Up to 5 years of IT experience & 3+ Years on Channels and Payment applications in banking/financial services industry.

• Knowledge on G3 and SWIFTalliance is preferred.

• Possess good knowledge on 3 tiers-architecture application to:

Provide L2 support – Be able to understand the application architecture, and interfaces to upstream/downstream.

• Support day-to-day IT operations – production issue resolution.

• Analyse issue raised by users or reported by monitoring system.

• Perform impact analysis and suggest workaround solution for service recovery.
