Job scope

•⁠ ⁠To call security command centre (SCC) upon start and end work.

•⁠ ⁠⁠Manage the keys locking for the main gates and the key box

•⁠ ⁠⁠Account for all items at security counter (contractor passes & recording book)

•⁠ ⁠⁠Ensure main/ pedestrian gate is always locked

•⁠ ⁠⁠Contact the project officer (PO) and SCC in the event of any incident. All incidents shall be recorded in the occurrence book

•⁠ ⁠⁠Ensure all occurrences , movement records are updated accurately, timely, correctly, complete and legible

•⁠ ⁠⁠Comply with all SOPs that issued by SP

•⁠ ⁠⁠Only allow SP staff/ RTO who display their SP passes/ SP long term passed to enter the installation

•⁠ ⁠⁠Conduct checks and record the movement timings on all vehicles of the SP staffs/ visitors/ contractors when entering and leaving the premises

•⁠ ⁠⁠Seek verification from SP project officers when there is any contraband, prohibited and flammable items

Job Description & Requirements

SCOPE

The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests and team members. He/She must ensure that safety and security measures in the hotel are observed at all times and will respond to first aid incidents and apply effective first aid for guest and team members.

OVERALL OBJECTIVES

• Take charge of the control room and monitor CCTV at all times.
• Handle all incoming information etc with confidentiality and forward to the concerned person.
• Provide support in emergency situations and accompany guests or team members to local authorities/hospital if required.
• Ensure that all fire exits and corridors are free from obstruction at all times.
• Respond to any fire/smoke alarms in the hotel and be ready to act accordingly.
• Ensure that gate passes are issued for all items/stock that leave the hotel and each item to be logged in the register book.
• Ensure that all fire-fighting equipment is in good working condition and all the emergency lights are illuminated.
• Conduct patrols in and around the hotel, driveway and parking spaces to detect any irregularities, which may include suspicious behaviour or security breaches.
• Conduct random checks on consignments and team members entering/leaving the hotel and their personal belongings at the security checkpoint to impede pilferage.
• Conduct basic Investigation and Fact-findings and provide assistance to Guests and team members when handling incidents.

REQUIREMENTS

• Positive, friendly, professional and confident, with good interpersonal skills.
• Able to present a professional image and deal with incidents in a discreet, confident and confidential manner.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Deskside team, providing LI & L2 support to users
• Lead cross-functional teams in rolling out end-point related projects in coordination with involved vendors
• Lead cross-functional team for the participation of customer’s major event/meeting starting from preparation, dry-run sessions to the completion of actual event/meeting

Technical Leadership

• Engage stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure smooth execution of events
• Support technology adoption of Temasek initiatives including Cloud-Infra and Application teams, supporting and performing tests

• Ensure that all end point systems stay up-to-date and compliant with updates and security patches
• Determine and identify opportunities for system improvement

• Oversee, plan, lead, coordinate, and collaborate with external partners, to lead small to medium size projects through the appropriate phases of implementation and support throughout the cross functional team
• Collaborate with cross functional Project Manager, in directing the team to assist in initial scoping documents and resource estimates for new customer’s new technology implementations.

Requirements

• Degree holder
• Up to 8 years of relevant experience in end-user support and Microsoft technologies
• Ability to discuss technical issues effectively with technical professionals and non-technical users
• Strong understanding of the technology lifecycle and development methodologies
• Strong analytical skills including the ability to understand and document business/clinical processes, and the ability to identify opportunities to improve processes through technology
• Ability to manage project implementation teams and individuals, and monitor the deliverables of each team to ensure milestone completion
• ITIL-certified
