Role Description:
As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will provide excellent technical guidance to customers adopting Google Cloud services. You will provide best practices on secure foundational cloud implementations, automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications, cloud-ready application architectures, and more. You will provide prescriptive guidance in ensuring customers receive the best of what Google Cloud Platform (GCP) can offer and you will ensure that customers have the best experience in migrating, building, modernising, and maintaining applications in Google Cloud. Job Description

• Compile and consolidate subsidiaries’ monthly performance reporting data, which include sales, costs, and expenses actual result and outlook.
• Account for variance between actual result and budget with in-depth analysis of root cause.
• Analysis and monitor regional headquarter profit status, included preparing headquarter annual budget and monthly outlook, monitoring monthly profit status and explaining the gaps.
• Support projects in the business region to prepare for annual budget and forecast, which include plan guide development, consolidation of subsidiaries’ plan data in a timely & effective manner, and ensures accuracy and timeliness are correctly managed.
• Develop monthly region performance data books and monthly submission schedules, and ensure all monthly schedules are submitted on time and historical data are correctly retained.
• Leverage Business Intelligence and dashboard tools to provide visibility of business performance, and develop monthly performance reports using the tools.
• Identify trends, advise companies and recommend actions to finance managers based on sound analysis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience, includes management accounting related experience in regional headquarters.
• >5 years’ experience would be considered as Senior Finance Analyst
• Finance and performance management knowledge, understanding companies and regional finance operations.
• Degree in Finance / Accountancy , Business, Economics or other relevant field
• Excellent analytical skills to process voluminous data, interpret trends, establish high-quality insights and business implications.

Responsibilities

System Analyst (SA) - Cards Issuing SA is responsible for the requirement analysis, effort estimation application solution design for Cards Core Issuing application processes and related online and batch interfaces. SA documents requirements/solution traceability, functional design and works closely with functional BA, product/project managers, architects, application developers, and end-users in the development and enhancement of applications. SA also reviews detailed technical design, codes and test strategies, test results and is also responsible for defect triaging.

· Analyze business requirements and provide functional solution to business requirements

· Work with business, fellow SAs, FBA, architect, project team, testers and operations users as well as application development team for functional design/solutions

· guide testers/users in cards parameter setup for the new business (new org, product, pricing, etc)

Division Summary

The Risk division encompasses the Credit Risk, Country Risk, Operational Risk, Physical Commodities Risk Assurance, Business Continuity Management and Market Risk disciplines. Credit Risk consists of the rating and analysis, ongoing monitoring and reporting of the credit exposure that the Bank runs.

Job Purpose

A 8-month placement to assist both the Credit Risk and PCRA teams. Applying experience and strong awareness of ICBC Standard Bank’s operations with a view to minimising the inherent risks to the Bank while simultaneously managing these against the rewards implied by the Bank’s activities.

Key Responsibilities

Credit Risk

Assist the Credit Risk team with the following key responsibilities;

· Counterparty risk management including analysis of financial information, liaise with clients to test & authenticate information supplied, assist in the end-to-end credit risk process, liaise with Front Office on requests, provide input of credit terms in legal documentation and assist in ratings and limit/appetite setting.

· Transaction risk assessment including reviewing new and existing transactions with a particular focus on global markets, commodities and derivative products, and some structured transactions.

· Portfolio management including ongoing monitoring of the creditworthiness of the portfolio, monitoring, and managing customer positions including limit excesses and non-payment or disputed margin calls.

Physical Commodities Risk Assurance

Assist the PCRA team with the following key responsibilities;

· Daily reporting: Ensuring daily and monthly reporting on location, group provider and notional inventory (NIRF) limits, aged inventory, and first line of defence inspection activity is accurate, comprehensive and issued on a timely basis.

· Inspections: Participating in PCRA physical inspection and desktop assurance activity, including participation in warehouse / vault / refinery / terminal / port visits globally, performance of desktop assurance reviews and agreeing and tracking actions.

· On-boarding: Providing sign off on the on boarding of new locations based on the data supplied in the Storage Location questionnaire and due diligence process, including approval of limits (subject to PCRA Delegated Authority thresholds) in inventory management systems.

· Monthly reporting: Production of papers for the Physical Commodities Committee.

Pre-requisites

· A degree, or equivalent in an appropriate discipline

· Experience of working in a regulated environment, ideally Financial Services

· Proven track record of performance in Financial Services

· Credit analysis experience

· Strong knowledge and awareness of ICBC Standard Bank’s operations
