The successful incumbent will Assistant Director, Operations / Lead Reintegration Mentor in ensuring the smooth running of the daily operations at Selarang Halfway House (SHWH) or future new site at Cosford and is responsible for the safety and welfare of the residents and the overall security of the Halfway House premises. They will work closely with the SHWH Case Managers to aid residents with their reintegration back to society.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

1. Oversee security screening to ensure contrabands are not brought into the house.

2. Facilitate the daily operational routine of SHWH or future new site:

a) Ensure the day-to-day needs of the residents and operational requirements of the halfway house are being met.

b) Facilitate the process of residents checking in and out of the halfway house on a daily basis and provide daily updates on the headcount and other activities/incidents (if any) throughout the tour of duty. Any unusual movements should be highlighted and reported to the relevant parties.

c) To ensure that there is seamless transition during the handing and taking over of shift duties. The jobholder is also responsible in ensuring that all outstanding matters have been clearly communicated to the next duty personnel and are promptly followed up with.

d) Provide logistical support to residents during their stay in SHWH or future new site. To assist occasionally with carrying & moving of bulky/heavy items.

e) Conduct patrols and searches in the SHWH Living Units to ensure the safety of residents.

3. Work closely with Case Managers in the case management of residents, including monitoring and maintaining proper records on the progress, movement, and other relevant information pertaining to the residents.

4. Assist in handling any grievance procedure and carrying out preliminary investigation of incidents and/or disciplinary issues (when assigned).

5. Identify any defect(s) or work(s) to be carried out pertaining to the halfway house’s estate management issues during daily tour of duty and to feedback to Singapore Prison Service Corporate Services Team for follow up.

The Lead for Data Analytics will play a key role in contributing to local, regional, and global projects involving data analysis, as well as in leading, advising, mentoring, and training junior team members. Job Description

The Investment Office of NUS is recruiting 1-2 analysts to join our inaugural Analyst Program. This is a 2-year program offering the opportunity to learn about asset allocation, different investment strategies in various asset classes, risk management, portfolio management and operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Investment Work:

• Assist in researching and sourcing for investment ideas
• Assist in the execution of investment due diligence work, including qualitative and quantitative analysis of prospective investment opportunities, interviewing the managers, reference checks, industry/sector research, preparing recommendation memo and legal documentation review.
• Assist in the portfolio monitoring and management of existing investments
• Assist in preparation of reports, presentation or updates to the investment committee, NUS management or other stakeholders
• Assist in taking meeting minutes for internal and external meetings
• Assist with any other ad-hoc duties/projects required by the Investment Office

Operations work:

• To support automation of existing processes, specifically to help organize data.

The Role

We are seeking an Investment Analyst based in Schonfeld Singapore office to provide integrated investment advice to Portfolio Manager. This person should be a team player with excellent communication skills, computer proficiency and high level of professionalism and familiar with Taiwan investment markets and technology sector.

- Assist portfolio manager on investment research, financial statement analysis covering Asia Pacific including Taiwan market

- Ensure knowledge of entire investment solution suite, recommend investment solutions to Portfolio Manager;

- Prepare meeting materials; generate research materials – proprietary, economic commentary and Bloomberg etc. as needed

- Review exceptions and recommend strategy to resolve exceptions; and

- other tasks or projects as required.
