• Create and optimize interactive dashboards in AWS QuickSight, transforming complex data into accessible visualizations for decision-makers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, ideally in the retail industry, with a focus on business intelligence and dashboard creation.
• Strong understanding of retail business processes and trends.
• Proficiency in AWS QuickSight and Snowflake, or equivalent cloud-based BI and data warehouse platforms.

This Role is responsible for helping to drive the planning, execution oversight, operational excellence, internal/external thought leadership and subject matter expertise on CME’s portfolio of external value-added data products and services.

In the role, the analyst will successfully support the strategic development of new data products and services – leveraging CME Group’s own proprietary data, data from third-party partnerships, and alternative data sets – designed to expand CME Group’s Data Services business and capitalize on recognized growth opportunities.

The analyst will further assist in the management of CME Group’s DataMine distribution platform and will further focus on providing a unique and streamlined user experience. This role will work across CME supporting teams and external partners and requires a passion for business strategy and problem solving and a strong familiarity with market data in the context of financial markets.

The analyst will also help drive growth of the CME Group's data Services business by taking ownership of ongoing usage analysis, intelligence gathering and preparing key research on client trends and opportunities, as well as providing pre-sales support for onboarding and licensing customers.

Principal Accountabilities:
• Develop and generate reports and analyses based on vendor and subscriber information. This includes conducting simple to moderately complex financial and usage analysis.
• Execute ad-hoc projects to identify industry trends, customer impact of potential commercial changes and be able to deliver this and similar research in clear and business-focused formats.
• Grow and maintain knowledge levels of real time and derived data policies and fees.
• Provide pre-sales assistance for the licensing of Derived Data prospects through high level qualification techniques and articulating onboarding process to clients.
• Substantiates and reconciles reports with clear documentation. Resolves discrepancies independently and demonstrates a keen eye for numerical detail.
• Work with and develop relationships with other business units globally to effectively analyze key client behaviors.

Skills & Software Requirements:
Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on high degree of proficiency in Excel including the use of financial formulas, data analysis and pivot table features is a must. Knowledge of Microsoft Access, SQL and Visual Basic programming is highly desired. Proficiency in Salesforce and PeopleSoft or other financial database helpful.

The position of Senior Reporting Analyst will be responsible for financial reporting and management of finance data across the NMG Consulting group.
