• Adapt and migrate legacy reports to new BI platform.

• Work closely with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand the business needs and then develop, test and deploy the appropriate solution.

• Collaborate with the business technology division to adopt internal software engineering and data governance best-practices and ensure that delivered solutions comply with technology and security guidelines.

• Deploy and enhance solution(s) progressively using agile/scrum methodology to meet business needs in a timely and adaptive manner.

• Compile design and technical documentation on the solution(s).

• Produce user guides and conduct workshops to train or coach users through the application change management process.

• Manage and lead all unit testing, integration testing, user testing, regression and any other tests required for the new solution(s).

• Providing hands-on guidance to users on functional and technical issues.

Skills/Requirement

• Diploma/bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, software engineering or related fields.

• Atleast 1 years of relevant hands-on experience in requirements gathering, software development and database design is a plus.

• Hands-on experience with scripting on PowerShell, Python, etc.

• Writing SQL queries and working with MS SQL. Familiarity with data ETL and data warehouse/cubes is a plus.

• Any relevant experience with coding on web/app/server-side applications is a plus.

• Experience with source code management and deployment, agile development methodology, and DevOps.

We are looking for a Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst to support the Regional Office Finance function with responsibilities in group financial reporting & consolidation, system implementation and acting as a key Business Partner.

Key Responsibilities

This role is based in Singapore, with the office located in Yishun. This role reports directly to the Senior Manager.

• Handle group monthly consolidation preparation and reporting.
• Perform account reconciliation, ensure proper intercompany transactions and eliminations.
• Review inter-company activity and balances and prepare group audit schedule and other group reports.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting pack, annual audit and ensure timely filling of statutory financial statements and group reporting.
• Submission of ad hoc group information in support of HQ business decision making.
• Assist in preparation and analysis of financial data to support group reporting.
• Ensure accounting reports are in compliance with accounting standards.
• Highlights exceptions and provides feedback to management on key findings.
• Assist in process improvement, procedure and policy review and system implementation.
• Support Treasury for group cash management.
• Support Tax on providing financial related information and schedules.
• Any other ad hoc assignments as required.

Education and Experience

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Experience in group consolidation and system implementation, with commercial exposure.
• Experience in business partnering and liaising with various stakeholders.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and perform well under pressure.
