Cybersecurity Risk Assessment & Mitigation:

• Cyber Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive cyber risk assessments in support of technology initiatives, identifying IT-related risks and recommending appropriate security controls to mitigate those risks.

Technology Project Manager will be responsible for one or more of following functions assigned to him as required.

Shipyard repairs & dry-docking support

• Maintain updated list of OSM Thome standard docking jobs for all classes of vessels, concurrent with class and flag requirements.
• Assist Vessel Managers to finalise ship specific docking specifications.
• Monitor docking planning of vessels in the fleet and liaise with respective Vessel Manager to ensure docking and associated repairs are carried out within the relevant window.
• Liaise with shipyards to ensure availability of repair slots.
• Assist the Vessel Manager with yard bids comparison and yard selection.
• Assist Vessel Manager or attend vessels during the dry-dock repair period, as required.
• Provide quarterly analysis report on yard performance based on set KPI’s.

Planned maintenance systems

• Monitor functionality of the Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS) for fleet vessels and provide solutions for the resolution of any issues and correction and improvement of database.
• Liaise with Vessel Managers and ship staff to ensure that the PMS program on each vessel is optimally utilized.
• Assist with the implementation of the PMS for new tonnage inducted into the Fleet.
• Ensure that the PMS are updated with new jobs as per the latest requirements from Classification Societies, Flag State Administrations, industry requirements, and sharing of best practices and experiences on the fleet.
• Provide PMS familiarisation and training to ship staff visiting the Office.

Technology Support Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Firm in the Technology function, including but not limited to software, hardware, networking infrastructure and applications
• Providing support in IT/ IS functions such as networking, mobile device, remote, audio visual, telephony and security
• Conducting basic in-house application training sessions to our user community
• Drafting, updating and managing documentation as part of the work process
• Collaborating with other members of the Technology team and Business Services team to come up with practical and effective solutions to meet business operational needs
• Participating in and contributing to special projects in support of Firm initiatives
• Assisting the team with related ad-hoc duties, where necessary

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
• Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Technologies that include but are not limited to Windows Operating System and Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Experience with other mainstream software systems (e.g. iOS, Mac OSX, Android) and/or technical skills related to an ability to do basic logic design and programming with simple scripts; or using industry standard visual basic, power-shell, will be ideal
• Industry standard current certifications by Microsoft, Cisco, HP, Application solution vendors will be helpful
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience in a corporate environment. Experience working in a law firm would be an advantage

The Technology Risk & Quality team provides advice and guidance to PwC digital teams to help them identify and manage the risks when developing and delivering technology solutions for the firm and its clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide sound advice to PwC professionals (across Assurance, Tax, Advisory and Internal Firm Services practices), seeking Technology Risk Management input when onboarding or developing new technology solutions
• Develop and/or update solutions to common queries, including relevant practice aids and templates
• Support the planning, designing and implementation of risk management processes
• Assist with technology risk assessments review
• Provide support, education and training to staff to build technology risk awareness within the organisation
• Prepare monthly reports and statistics for internal reporting
• Where appropriate, you will also be offered opportunities to work with various support functions, other Lines of Service and with the regional Risk & Quality teams

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

• At least 3 years of experience within PwC, another accounting firm or relevant industry is preferred
• Excellent project management skills
• Possesses a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
• Possesses a strong people oriented attitude
• Has the confidence and maturity to deal with all levels of staff
• Be able to report findings in an appropriate way for different audiences
