Reporting directly to the Senior Director, CIO ASIA & LATAM, you will be at the forefront of driving technology-related engagement and executing innovative technology programs. What will my accountabilities be?

Market, BU, and Global Technology Alignment

· Serve as the primary liaison between McDonald's Asia markets and Global Technology solutions, practices, standards, and platforms while fostering strong relationships.

· Ensure market needs, plans, and commitments are aligned with the deployment capacity offered by globally approved suppliers and partners.

· Collaborate with the Vendor Management Office (VMO) and legal teams to facilitate commercial agreements with third-party suppliers, acting as an escalation point for markets and the business unit.

· Partner with the business unit to develop a multi-year technology roadmap that supports the business goals.

· Manage expectations of the business unit and markets regarding the availability and capabilities of the Global Technology solutions.

· Regularly review and influence organizational needs at the market level and within Global Technology, including succession plans and identifying missing capabilities.

Technology Planning and Adoption

· Drive the adoption of Global Technology standards and solutions across Asia markets.

· Lead the annual planning exercise in collaboration with the Global Technology team, business unit and markets.

· Track deployment efforts, proactively manage risks, and address challenges to ensure the success of the technology deployment program.

· Adjust commitments as needed and seek alignment with leadership.

· Monitor and track the progress of markets in adopting various global solutions, such as core restaurant solutions, hardware, and operating systems.

Communication

· Regularly share information about the global technology solution portfolio and technology standards, ensuring alignment with market business plans and addressing any legal considerations for the Asian DLs.

· Proactively communicate the latest information to market leadership, providing updates on a regular cadence and facilitating their participation in global events, such as CIO meetings and GTRM summits.

· Deliver clear and effective communications regarding the annual planning process, technology pricing guide, and the latest technology standards.

Governance

· Guide governance processes with various organizations to make informed technology decisions, manage adjustments, and mitigate technology risks.

· Manage relationships and conduct regular reviews with 3rd party technology suppliers, ensuring effective governance.

· Contribute to the market quarterly business reviews and DL business reviews to provide valuable insights and support decision-making.

· Provide support to global internal audit initiatives as required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES

•Reviewing, documenting, evaluating and testing cyber security controls in a wide range of environments.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

•4+ years in a related field, preferably gained in a “Big 4” environment or professional cyber security servicing firms.

•Proficient in Microsoft Windows scripting (WSH, PowerShell), Linux shell scripting, Python/Perl/Ruby, C/C++, .NET, SOAP/Rest API.

•Understanding of leading IT security control frameworks (ISO 27001/2, NIST CSF, COBiT).

•Understanding of cyber security risk assessment approaches and deliverables.

REQUIRED INDUSTRY / TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

•Practical hands-on experience with security solutions in multi-layered “defense-in-depth” security model (EDR, NGFW, IPS/IDS/FW, SEIM, MDM,DB Protection, DLP,Web proxies,WAF, Wireless security, Patch and vulnerability management, Forensic tools, etc).

•Practical hands-on experience with technical security assessment (configuration, source code, mobile), vulnerability assessment andpenetration testing methodologies and tools (Nexpose, Qualys, Nessus, Burp Suite, NetSparker, Acunetix, Metasploit, Powersploit, Empire, Kali linux tools etc.) for networks and applications.

Job Description

The Department of Food Science & Technology (FST) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is Singapore’s first Department of Food Science & Technology in the university sector. Established in 1999 initially as the FST Programme in the Faculty of Science, it was elevated to a full academic department in January 2020 in the same Faculty. The Department has expanded significantly in both education and research to help Singapore to achieve food resilience and security as well as to advance Singapore’s food industry.

The FST Department would like to invite applications for tenure-track faculty position in ‘Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Food Science & Technology’ and ‘Smart Food Processing’.

The candidate will be required to:
• Develop and lead competitive research program.
• Participate in teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate subjects, as well as supervision of Honours students and graduate students.
• Contribute to service duties as required.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a PhD degree in a related field from an internationally reputable university. Postdoctoral experience of at least 2 years is desirable and industrial experience is highly valued.
