2. Planning & Development

3. Management of Resources and the Teaching Environment:

• Assist the HOD in identifying appropriate resources within the limits of the departmental budget.

4. Assessment, Recording & Reporting

• Ensure students’ work is regularly assessed according to D&T departmental policy and that homework is in line with school policy.
• Report to parents in accordance with the school’s reporting policy as laid down in the Staff Handbook.
• To use information gained from assessment, recording and reporting procedures to generate further improvement in pupil achievement.
• Assist the HOD in the setting and marking of school examinations and to supervise entries for external examinations.

5. Pastoral and Co-Curricular

• Lead the development of the F1 in Schools program in D&T.
• Contribute to co-curricular activities that broaden pupils’ experiences and contribute to the general life of the school.
• When required, take on a form tutor role in the Senior School and fulfil the responsibilities of that position.
• Follow the School’s policies and procedures regarding discipline and behaviour, daily routines, duties, homework, leave of absence, and visits, as laid down in the Staff Handbook.
• Be responsible for reporting any concerns about a child to the Designated Safeguarding Lead.

6. Communication and Liaison

• Help to establish an ability to spot and solve problems and to increase resilience in learning, through your own enthusiasm for the subject.
• Contribute wholeheartedly to D&T department activities such as supporting each school with projects, planning ‘House Day’ activities, ‘Children’s University’ and transition days.
• Attend and contribute to meetings of a professional nature with HOD, HOF, HOY, SSLT and in other circumstances when requested.

The Team:

The Credit Trading Analytics team is part of the Investment Trading and Technology (ITT) division at DBS and is responsible for designing and building auto-quoting tools and solutions while also helping traders uncover patterns and assimilate market information.

The Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (HASS) Cluster at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) seeks applicants for a full-time lecturer or senior lecturer teaching-track position in the social sciences. Appointments will be made on an initial two- or three-year contract with the possibility of renewal, including opportunities for career development and promotion within the teaching-track.

We seek applicants from any of the social sciences (economics, sociology, anthropology, psychology, etc.) who have a strong background and interest in teaching classical and contemporary social science theory and methods. Successful applicants will teach in our team-taught introductory core course Social Science: Understanding Culture, Society and Behaviour. In addition, successful applicants will also teach 1 or 2 electives of their own design that contribute to our cluster’s teaching mission as a HASS cluster within an engineering and design university.

Job Summary

The Executive/ Senior Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies and collaborating with the marketing team to support sales efforts. They will work closely with the Marketing Department to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with sales objectives. Additionally, they will be tasked with actively pursuing sponsors, managing the sales process, and closing deals.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy and Execution (80%)

· Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for SSTL and its programs.

· Identify and cultivate new sales leads and opportunities.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

· Monitor sales performance and provide insights to optimize strategies for maximum impact on revenue.

· Proactively identify and pursue potential sponsors for SSTL projects.

· Engage in negotiations with potential sponsors to secure deals.

· Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to deal closure.

Ensure all necessary documentation and contracts are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

2. Collaboration with Marketing Team (10%)

· Collaborate with the marketing team to produce necessary marketing collateral and provide support for client presentations and meetings.

· Provide input and insights to the marketing team to help tailor marketing campaigns for maximum sales impact.

· Assist in managing corporate content on the website and social media platforms to support sales efforts.

Contribute to the development of marketing collateral and content targeted at driving sales.

3. Market Research and Competitor Analysis (10%)

· Monitor customers' and competitors' activities in the market and provide valuable insights to management.

· Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate relevant information into sales strategies

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

· Minimum Degree / Diploma in any field

· Ideally at least 2 years of experience in sales, with a focus on strategic planning, revenue generation, and deal closure.

· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.

· Possess good planning and organizational skills to multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

· Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong client-service orientation.

The research staff conducts research in the areas of video analytics for remote pilotage, video compression, advanced sensing techniques, sensor and operation data fusion, data analytics and machine learning algorithms. Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment and instrumentation.
• Knowledge of GMP regulations, FDA guidelines, and industry best practices for pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy and Execution (60%)

· Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for SSTL and its programs.

· Identify and cultivate new sales leads and opportunities, including engaging with potential sponsors for events.

· Manage the sales process from prospecting to deal closure, ensuring all contracts and agreements are completed accurately and on time.

· Engage and manage relationships with major customers to drive partnership value and ideation development.

2. Event Management (15%)

· Source, facilitate, and champion large-scale events, including GSTC and new major events, locally and regionally.

· Design, lead, and generate concepts for SSTL's major events, ensuring content relevance and competitiveness.

Participate in events, conduct interviews, and represent SSTL's events as the face of the organization.

3. Market Research and Competitor Analysis (15%)

· Proficiency in another language (Mandarin, Japanese, French) is a plus.
