This role is for a lawyer with a technology focus, reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary. Your focus will be to support the business, operations, and tech teams on contracts with third parties (including with group entities) to support Trust and its customer value proposition. The Role Responsibility:

· Provide updates to the business on overall status of legal contract workstream

· Provide legal advice, drafting and transactional support to the business with a focus on third-party contracts and retail banking

· Assist in the development and periodic review of standard bank documentation, including templates, policies, and procedures.

· Provide innovative and commercially minded legal support for third-party contracts, the development of new products and product governance

· Work with other functions (including Compliance and Risk) to ensure that robust diligence processes, documentation, and pre and post governance are properly embedded

Qualifications:

• At least a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, programming & systems analysis, Science (Computer Studies) or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
