The position reports directly to the Secretary General.

The Software Development (SD) and Information Technology (IT) Officer supports the IRSG secretariat’s IT infrastructure and is responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of the IT network, computers, and other digital systems while supporting and enhancing the IRSG's cybersecurity posture.

The Software Development (SD) and Information Technology Officer is responsible for IT support delivery as well as cyber risk management strategy and planning. (B) SUMMARY OF KEY FUNCTIONS/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Within the limits of delegated authority, the software development and information technology Officer is responsible for the following duties:
▪ Day-to-day monitoring, technical support, and planning of all aspects of the IT network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/wireless network).

Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SANS, GIAC, CEH, etc. will be an added advantage.

A minimum of three years (but preferably five years) of progressively responsible experience in planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer information technology systems or related areas is required.

Experience in the administration of IT infrastructure, including network servers, web servers, virtual private networks, firewalls, and wireless services, is required, as is the ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for the design and planning of network communication systems. Strong competence in developing and implementing software applications to be deployed in analyzing "big data" for econometric forecasting is mandatory.

The Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (HASS) cluster at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) seeks applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position specialising in the philosophy of science and technology. We are particularly interested in applicants who can play an instrumental role in addressing questions relating to ethics in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other emerging technologies—both through teaching students who are pursuing engineering, computer science, and architecture majors and through interdisciplinary research collaborations with engineering, design, and computer science faculty. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in a humanities-related discipline, such as philosophy or digital humanities, and have demonstrated research and teaching expertise in their field.

Besides cultivating a strong research portfolio, the successful candidate will be required to teach our undergraduate humanities core course and new electives in the candidate’s area of specialisation. Candidates who can contribute to our cluster’s digital humanities minor programme will also be viewed favourably.
