Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement overseas student recruitment plans to support enrolment targets. Focus markets include: Great China and ASEAN markets.
- Maintain and enhance relationships with existing and new university partners and agents.
- Involve in collaborative projects with local and international university and industry partners.
- Plan and execute outreach activities with overseas university partners, German academic partners and recruitment agents. Examples of such activities include programme info- sessions / scientific talks /education fairs physically and virtually.
- Source and evaluate suitable education fairs for branding and recruitment purposes.
- End-to-end lead nurturing and management – counsel prospective students through various offline and online platforms from the initial inquiry to enrolment.
- Provide analytical reports on the student recruitment trips and numbers.
- Review and refine the recruitment strategy based on the insights and findings and provide strategy reports to management before each admissions cycle.
- Explore and recommend education portals, sites or forums that we should actively engage overseas university students in.
- Initiate and manage alumni activities in China.
- Develop and execute inbound student immersion programs, hosting overseas students annually, and fostering potential candidates for postgraduate programs.
- Partner with the marketing team to develop materials that are required to market and support the planned events and share feedback from the social media platforms.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of a cohesive and integrated admissions framework.
- Undertake any other ad hoc duties related to the above-mentioned scope.
Requirements:
- Recognized degree with a minimum of 3-4 years of work experience, preferably in Recruitment or Sales.
- Experience in the tertiary education industry is highly preferred.
- Experience in recruitment work will be an advantage.
- Candidate must be willing to travel to Great China region and ASEAN countries.
- Self-starter and has the tenacity to see a plan through to execution.
- Hands-on, takes ownership of projects and possess a sense of urgency.
- Outgoing personality - able to get along well with people across all levels.
- Analytical and meticulous, with an eye for detail.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- A team player.
