1. SAP system support and maintenance

• Create and maintain material master, vendor master, info records in SAP

2. Order Fulfillment

• Review MRP proposal for Singapore T&I Sales offices and place purchase orders to respective vendors.

• Handle all enquiries on products, price, availability & lead-time

The Remanufacturing Process Technology (RPT) Group in ARTC is looking for a responsible and motivated laboratory officer to join the group. The lab officer?s responsibilities include operation of high-power lasers for cleaning related experiments, metal and composite sample preparation, characterization, measurement, and mechanical testing. The lab officer also supports group?s research activities through procurement, design of experiments, equipment scheduling, risks identification and assessment to ensure efficient and safe operation of our labs. The roles and responsibilities include the following areas:

· Perform high-power laser material processing using robotics, CNC and hand-held systems on-site of ARTC and occasional visit to customer sites.

· Perform material testing, sample preparation, microstructure & defects analysis in fabricated coupons and parts.

· Tracking and managing lab resource utilization, procurement, and delivery.

· Storage space management and optimization.

· Ensure high operational readiness by troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and liaising for repairs.

· Planning equipment maintenance and facilitating mechanical and electrical installations for new equipment.

· Assist in scheduling equipment utilization and procurement for project consumables.

· Secondary roles related to health, safety, environment, and procurement to manage the Risk Assessment (RA), Standard Working Procedures (SWP), Permit to Work (PTW), and chemical purchasing and storage.

· Identify and recommend improvement measurements to ensuring high quality in lab safety and 8S standards

- Join Training Programme in order to later supervise and plan for preparations, execution and closing of chemical cleaning, steam/air blowing, lube oil flushing and other projects

- Develop documentation and reporting

- Support Technical and Operations for Solarca group where and when required around the World

- Worksites in various Singapore and Overseas regional and worldwide locations

- Daily Coordination, planning and execution of with plants that company had long term projects or cleaning job

- Ensure vendor/company documents are received, reviewed, and approved on time

- Develop/improve warehouse planning methods and oversee warehouse inventory

- Develop warehouse storage, layout and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) plans

- Develop warehousing standards for quality management systems

- Handling of dangerous goods and hazardous materials and isussing of material base on material list that the project team generated

- Ensures that all stock is stored in correct locations in the warehouse

- Manage WSH solutioning discussions around suggestions to improve existing processes

- Manage Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) activities to ensure department compliance with requirements

- Transport pickup at Boonlay area

• Need to be Fluent in English both written and speak
• Required with Technical or Engineering background .
• Require to carries out technical or engineering works as specified by superior
• Any other works that is directly or indirectly related to any of the job duties.
• Co-ordinate all works & arrangements with Production & Sales Department.
• Co-ordinate with Production for Purchasing Tasks.
• Require to attend site survey or evaluation to assess customer technical issues or problems

~ Minimum Nitec qualification in Engineering.
~ Fresh graduate are welcomed but with Engineering/Marine/Petrochemical Industries experience will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• To perform installation, retrofit & upgrade, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair for electronics assembly and inspection equipment.
• To provide after-sale service and support with the highest standard of professionalism and efficiency to achieve total customer satisfaction.
• Work with principals to diagnose technical problem, determine the solution and assist customer in implementing the fix.
• Effectively communicate and coordinate with principals and customers for equipment installation and OEE improvement.
• To conduct on-site evaluation for electronics assembly and inspection equipment at customer sites.
