1. Perform research in the following areas relating to coastal protection and adaptation to climate change:

- Wave attenuation over mangroves, seagrasses and coral reefs

- Feasibility of floating wetlands

2. Conduct literature review, field surveys and liaise with relevant government agencies to establish configurations of coastal vegetation/coral which are representative of those commonly found in Singapore.

3. Assist in planning and executing physical modelling and simulations involving free-surface waves interacting with artificial coastal vegetation/corals, as well as waves interacting with floating wetlands.

4. Perform numerical modelling and simulations using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and relevant tools for validation with model test results, and subsequently conduct parametric study and interface with other research partners.

5. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements

Qualification & Field of Study:

Bachelor/Master's Degree in Coastal Engineering, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering or other related disciplines.

Work Experience:

1. Preferably having relevant research/industry experience with competent knowledge in some of the following areas:

- Coastal engineering, civil engineering and/or naval architecture.

2. Prior experience/knowledge of the following software/programming languages will be preferred:

- CAD software such as SolidWorks, Rhino, and/or AutoCAD

- CFD tools such as OpenFOAM, and/or StarCCM+

- Hydrodynamic analysis tools such as SESAM, OrcaFlex and/or WAMIT

- Data analysis tools such as MATLAB

- Programming languages such as python, C++ and/or FORTRAN

3. Experience with model tests in wave flumes or basins, including experimental design, model setup, sensing and data acquisition, will be an advantage.

Role Objective:

As a Product Specialist, you will be responsible for providing specialized product expertise and high levels of customer service to our business users for our strategic products. You will be a subject matter expert on these products and will work with customers to answer their questions and resolve their issues. WHAT THIS ROLE INVOLVES

As a Product Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Providing high levels of support to all end users daily by being the first point of contact for all product related support requests, queries, and bugs. Respond promptly to user emails with detailed information/ solution and ensure that all issues are properly resolved. If an issue cannot be resolved immediately, provide timely updates to users and stakeholders. This involves providing high level of support to clients for client facing related products.
• Perform user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing and postproduction testing ensuring system is stable, and all existing functionalities are working as expected. Work closely with engineering and product to resolve bugs found as part of this process.
• As product subject matter experts, build up product knowledge across entire leasing tech stack. Continuously build and maintain in-depth knowledge of how business functions, processes, system integrations, and workflows align to the use of supported leasing tech stack.
• Provide exceptionally user/ client service by building and maintaining user/ customer relationship and resolving queries at the earliest.
• As feature release are typically deployed over the weekend, product specialists are required to be available on selected weekends (on a rotationally basis) for activities such as regression testing or post-production testing, etc.
• Actively work towards increasing usage and adoption by fully supporting the regional training series. Areas of expected contribution are in administering the training program, developing training curriculum and content that’s relevant, delivering training, and ensuring all user queries are addressed either via the support channel or by running virtual drop-in sessions.
• Digital adoption platforms (DAP) support adoption of tools and technologies providing a more personalised learning experience. In 2024, Cash’s business strategy aims to transform into a 6 billion business, driving a corresponding increase in Technology investments from 120 million in 2023 to 157.5 million in 2024.

The increase in technology investment necessitates the need of a Head of Classic Pay role to address the requirements of Tech Simplification initiative and decommissioning of last mile platforms dotOpal, STS, and GCG while keeping the light on for the payments processing that are pending migration to our strategic platform SCPay.

The Head of Classic Pay Technology is responsible and accountable for driving the stability agenda, Tech Simplification and collaborate with Payments Future subdomain leads to collectively achieve our SCPay roll out objective. Formulate and deliver stability, obsolescence, and vulnerabilities strategy in collaboration with the other subdomain leads, Cash product, and COO teams for all current and future technology requirements of the organisation. Consider multiple levers in the development and execution of the technology strategy including client value, client experience, time to market, stability, resilience, scalability, cost efficiency, cloud adoptability, build & maintain etc.

• Daily morning check and reporting of equipment hardware status (Visual check).
• Rack & install / removal of physical hardware.
• Installation or upgrade of hardware for servers, parts replacement under direction of client staff.
• Manage spare parts handling for all client installed hardware. Controlling dispatch of faulty parts to contractors and coordinating with contractors for RMA.
• Spare parts inventory management: Manage the inventory of spare parts and its status.
• Equipment management - Management of equipment location in the racks and managing rack layout under direction of client staff.
• Asset management - Labeling and recording of assets, publish changes move / remove / decommission, periodic asset checking.
• Vendor / supplier coordination: Log hardware cases with respective vendor / supplier, manage spare parts & logging the issues and site access management.
• Reporting management – issue daily report / handover document and monthly documents.
• Act as client Representative to escort Company’s vendor / supplier requiring access to the Data Center
• Basic defect testing and analysis of hardware issues including power cycle and simple parts replacement under direction of client staff.
• Access management – Data Center access log tracking / reporting
• Provide support services regionally that is managed by Data Center Management Team within client.
• On-call services – Engineers are expected to be reachable and responsive outside the Coverage Hours whenever there is an emergency incident.
• Upon client request, Engineers are required to provide the outside the normal shift hours.

Job Description

We invite highly motivated and dynamic professionals with relevant experience to join our Tax Transformation team playing a critical role in the development of improved tax reporting processes across all functions of tax. Our objective is to elevate our overall technology capabilities while providing new and innovative solutions to alleviate previously manual tasks. Working in the Tax Transformation team will provide opportunities to develop in-depth understanding of tax processes, system and tool development and the implementation of critical internal and external solutions

In this role, you will be involved in analysing tax function business models in order to design and implement effective tax processes. Successful candidates should have a passion for all things data; from database architecture and data extraction to high value analytics, data mining and predictive analytics.

The successful candidate will:

• Partner with the business across all functions of tax to identify and clearly articulate tax requirements and help with the development of technology solutions to to meet their overall objectives of the tax optimisation projects
• Evaluate and document current and future state tax processes across all areas of compliance and reporting both internally and external clients
• Effectively plan and execute on key aspects of the project and optimisation initiatives to ensure successful implementations within the required timeframes
• Successfully implement the tax requirements defined by the business into the various systems and tools to assist with the automation of tax business processes, workflows and data quality throughout all tax processes
• Analyse complex problems, and share creative and innovative solutions to solve client's problems
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across all functions internally and externally with confidence;
• Effectively lead training and communication with end users as part of the overall product delivery
• Lead the design, development and execution of the end-to-end test scenarios on various tax technology applications

The ideal candidate should:

• Possess a recognised bachelor’s degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information System, Statistics, Accountancy, Finance, or similar quantitative field of study
• Have minimum 3 years of recent related experience within the in finance, technology or project management
• Basic knowledge of tax regulations and tax function operations to be able to effectively communicate with the stakeholders
• Be curious about technology and have a passion for improving business processes
• A strong team player
• A tax background is preferred
• Demonstrated success leading, developing and implementing technology solutions
• Excellent presentation and communication skills both written and verbal
• Proven ability to communicate complex requirements to diverse stakeholders at multiple levels
• Possess the ability to think critically and solve problems in a creative and logical manner
• Demonstrate a growth mindset and an attitude for constantly striving for continuous improvement and optimal re-design of work processes
• Have a positive attitude, willingness to learn and take on responsibilities that may be outside the scope of your current skills
