Key equipment includes a 8.5 m dual-side fibre drawing tower, a Modified Chemical Vapour Deposition (MCVD) fibre preform lathe hosted in 200 m2 of cleanroom space. The facility also includes 300 m2 of dedicated chemical preparation area for glass etching and machining, advanced fibre processing and characterisation systems, including Bragg grating engraving/cutting, fusion splicing, thermogravimetric and thermomechanical analysers, lithography and etching. Characterisation relies on spectrophotometry, high-frequency network analysis, SNOM and electro-optic microcharacterisation.

A Facility Manager (FM) is required to support fibre fabrication activities at NTU. The FM should address any problems or issues that arise during fibre fabrication in the lab and proactively assist those using the facility. •Demonstrate leadership in overseeing Operations (on-premise and Multi-Cloud), including Major Incidents, IT Operations Command Centres, CAB Change Management, and Service Desk management, coordinating hybrid teams for stability and service excellence.

•Adaptive and responsive to dynamic environments.

•A proven track record in managing IT service delivery Command Centre and ServiceDesk operations, and addressing infrastructure support escalations (e.g., network systems, storage).

•Excellent communication skills across organizational levels, including executive management, supported by strong interpersonal skills, a positive outlook, flexible and adaptable approach.

Who we’re looking for?

You will be working on Enterprise Architect and DevSecOps initiatives for THE BANK and will be involved in activities across the two domains with focus on JIRA and visual display like KIbana.

What you’ll do

• Participating in defining and operating the architecture governance process to ensure change initiatives align to the vision and roadmaps.
• Working closely with Domain Architects across key initiatives and projects to apply architecture principles and standards and develop reference architectures and design patterns.
• Communicating the principles, standards, vision, and roadmaps to stakeholders and proactively addressing any questions / concerns identified
• Providing thought leadership on architectural or other topics, developing a forward-looking view of current and emerging technologies and their impact on the Enterprise Architecture
• Maintain and improve the process and tools to enable Enterprise Architect functions, owns, and enhances workflows and processes, and delegates with clear accountabilities across the teams to meet objectives / outcomes, which mainly driven with JIRA software
• Embedding Platform Thinking in everything

Requirements:

• Experience in using JIRA for at least 2 years and open to learn visual apps like Kibana, Elastic

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or equivalent

BIG PLUS:

• Technically strong in different integration mechanisms with open systems, AS400 and Mainframe
• Comfortable in working in an environment which is vendor intensive.
• Ability to communicate complex topics in an understandable way using a level of detail and terms appropriate to the situation.
• Formal architecture certification (TOGAF or equivalent)
