We are seeking an experienced AI Algorithm Leader to lead our team in cutting-edge research and development of large language models (LLMs). You will be responsible for pre-training, fine-tuning, and applying large models to various downstream tasks. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in algorithms, extensive project experience, and excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

• Build and manage the large model algorithm team, and develop the technology roadmap.
• Deeply involved in the research of core technologies such as large model pre-training, SFT, and reinforcement learning.
• Explore innovative applications of large models in areas such as Agent, RAG, and AIGC.
• Responsible for the product landing of algorithms, transforming research results into real business value.
• Track the forefront of AI technology development and maintain the team's technological leadership.

Requirements:

• Master's degree or above in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of algorithm development experience, 3+ years of algorithm team management experience.
• Solid theoretical foundation in machine learning and deep learning, familiar with Transformer, BERT, and other model architectures.
• Rich experience in large model pre-training, SFT, RLHF, etc.
• Familiar with Agent, RAG, AIGC technologies, and have relevant project landing experience.
• Have research experience in NLP, CV fields, and have published relevant papers.
• Familiar with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, and have good programming skills.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills, able to lead the team to complete tasks efficiently.
• Prior experience working in a large company is preferred.
• Proficient in chinese in order to alias Mandarin speaking colleagues and customers.

Reporting Structure

Reports to Deputy Director, Strategic Planning.


Key Responsibilities

• To participate in the development and implementation of SAL’s strategic plans, including monitoring the execution of action plans, tracking and reporting of corporate KPIs.
• To engage and communicate KPIs and targets to relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment across the organisation to achieve the desired goals and outcomes.
• To conceptualise, organise and manage appropriate strategic planning activities for SAL senior leadership, including management planning retreats, annual strategic reviews, etc.
• To assist in data visualization / analytical cross-divisional projects and development of analytics literacy program including research, creating material for workshop and providing administrative support.
• To design, analyse and interpret data set / results related to various types of studies with calculations and formulas to ensure accuracy and support corporate decision-making.
• To manage the Strategic Planning Department’s budget.
• To provide secretariat support and follow-through for key project meetings (such as SAL’s strategic project committees, special work groups, etc.).
• To perform any other functions and special projects as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Business/Economic/IT related degree with at least 5 - 7 years’ relevant working experience. Those with experience in strategic/ corporate planning, statistics and data analytics are welcome to apply.
• Familiarity with the legal industry and the use of data analytical & statistical analysis software will be an added advantage.
• Strong planning, critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
