We’re a team of engineers, designers, and product managers who build technology for the public good. We proactively identify areas where technology can help, test our prototypes with actual users, and bring our best ones to launch. This includes everything from building better frontend applications for citizens, to automating the internal operations of public agencies. We use and release open source software, keep a flat hierarchy, and bypass bureaucracy to focus on delivery. Your job will be to

• Coach and motivate your Product Management (PM) reports towards building good products across a wide range of government spaces. Provide consistent and actionable feedback on your reports’ product and performance to help their teams deliver on speed, quality, and impact.
• Accelerate your reports’ growth, learning, and development. Have a deep understanding of your reports’ aspirations and developmental goals to enable progress towards these.

We need someone who can

• Bring products from 0 to 1. We’re continually launching new products across the government, so you have to be comfortable with identifying product opportunities, rapid prototyping, and quickly finding product market fit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Infrastructure Development: Design and build scalable, efficient, and secure data infrastructure to support advanced analytics and reporting systems.
• ETL Pipeline Development: Develop and maintain robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to process data from various sources, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and accurate data.
• Data Integration: Integrate multiple internal and external data sources, ensuring seamless data flow across platforms.
• Data Modeling: Create and maintain data models and schemas that ensure the efficient storage and retrieval of data.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Experience:2+ years of experience in data engineering, database management, or a similar field.
  Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
  Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
