Responsibilities:

• Designing, implementing, and managing security solutions to protect against cyber threats while ensuring seamless IT Infrastructure, Servers and Applications performance.
• Continuously optimize existing IT Infrastructure, Servers and Applications security policies and models, monitor and respond to threat detection event alerts and response handling, and enhance overall detection levels and coverage.
• Be responsible for vulnerability management (CVE, CVSS, OWASP Top 10), container, network & systems security, as well as cloud security tools and services
• Design, configure, and maintain firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and other security devices.
• Monitor and analyze security events and logs to identify potential vulnerabilities and incidents.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CCNP Security, Palo Alto PCNSA) are a plus but not mandatory.
• 7 to 12 years of experience in the designing, implementing, and managing of IT Infrastructure, Servers and Applications security according to industry standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or SOC 2.
• Expertise in one or more IT Security Engineering topics, such as Secure Browsing, PAM, PKI, or Multifactor Authentication.
• Proven ability to contribute to the development of architecture, concepts, and processes in IT security.
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, etc.), firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection / prevention systems (IDS/IPS), vulnerability management (CVE, CVSS, OWASP Top 10) and etc.
• Proficiency in firewall technologies (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA).
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and penetration testing.

As a member of the respondents, you will be part of the team responsible for operational support of Authority's Data Centres (DCs) and expected to work independently. Your primary responsibility is to ensure system functionality, availability, data security, and compliance with industry standard. This includes:

a. Facilitating, monitoring and resolving any IT Infra (Hardware) service request/fault.

b. Conducting regular audit check to ensure vendor/user comply to Authority's DC policies/processes.

c. Ensuring smooth DC operation such as coordinating with Facility Management (FM) for any M&E matters.

You will be working closely with all levels of IT Infra support team and is expected to operate, excel, maintain and monitor operating systems of the Data Centres (DCs) whenever and whatever support service for the enterprise system. This includes being on 24 x 7 standby for response and scheduled maintenance events.

Job Scope:

Data Centre Operation Management

1. Work with user (with/without vendor support) for any escorting/installation/decommission/replacement of IT Infra equipment hosted inside the Data Centre, ensuring compliance to Authority policies/processes and update relevant inventories accordingly.

2. Carry out periodic checks inside Data Centre, looking out for any:

a. Unreported IT Infra hardware fault

b. Environment issue to be addressed (e.g.: Faulty lighting, item obstructing airflow)

c. Abnormality status of facility system (e.g.: Air-con) and report it to Facility Management (FM)

d. Non-compliance

e. Collect power utilization statistic (if required)

3. Manage, procure and support provision of Data Centre equipment/systems, peripherals, spares, user documentations and technical manuals.

4. Utilise alerting and reporting systems/tools to monitor Data Centre operation and relevant M&E related equipment status (If deemed required by the Authority).

5. Work with Asset Management (AM) to perform asset tagging for IT infra equipment.

Requirements:

- Diploma in Electrical Eng., Computer Eng., Information Technology or equivalent with at least 1 year of experience in system administrator role.

- Basic understanding of Network knowledge and components

- Experience in administrating Linux (Redhat) and Windows Server (2016-2025) OS

- Experience in managing virtualization technologies like VMware server/ESXi

• Certified Data Centre Facilities Operations Manager (CDFOM) or equivalent; and ITIL v4 Foundation Certification or equivalent
• Work with Customer-appointed Supplier on site preparation tasks such as network cabling and electrical wiring, when required.
• Ensure the network cabling in the data centre and within the racks are neat and tidy.
• Work with the Customer-appointed Supplier for both scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance, servicing, repair and upgrading works to the infrastructure at the Customer’s premises and premises identified by the Customer.
• Plan and coordinate the maintenance activities. This includes polling the affected parties, obtaining the Customer’s approval, and sending out messages to inform the affected party.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of the data centre design layouts.
• Manage the physical security of the data centre in accordance with the guidelines provided by the Customer.
• Monitor the following physical security infrastructure to ensure they are within the operating levels defined by the Customer:
