Role Overview

The Senior Global Infrastructure Engineer is part of the Global Infrastructure and Operations Team to ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of IT infrastructure services globally. The role is responsible for overseeing and managing Organization’s Azure cloud and on-premises IT Infrastructure. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills and project management.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Azure Cloud Management

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure Virtual Machines to meet organizational requirements.
• Design, implement, and manage Azure virtual networks, subnets, and connectivity solutions.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure storage.
• Manage Azure Backup and disaster recovery to protect critical data and systems.
• Administer and secure access to Azure resources using IAM best practices, policies, and RBAC configurations.

2. Window Server Administration

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Servers in VMware environment to ensure service delivery.
• Continuously monitor and optimize windows server performance, perform configuration changes to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime.
• Manage server roles and features such as AD, DNS, DHCP and file services.
• Implement and enforce Group Policies to maintain security and compliance across systems.
• Perform regular system updates, apply patches and backups to keep systems secure.

3. Storage and backup

• Implement, maintain, monitor and troubleshoot storage issue for SAN and NAS.
• Monitor storage performance and capacity, perform optimizations to maintain efficiency.
• Implement, maintain, monitor and troubleshoot Veeam backup.
• Ensure compliance with data retention policies and regulations.

4. Project Management

• Leading the implementation of IT Infrastructure projects.
• Deliver project scope, and deliverables as per agreed schedule.
• Proactively coordinate and communicate with stakeholders and team members.

5. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT infrastructure and processes.
• Prepare regular reports on IT infrastructure availability, performance and project status.

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
• Professional certifications e.g. Azure Administrator Associate, Window Server Administration, and VCP are highly desirable.
• Strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in Azure infrastructure solutions.

Job Purpose

To take charge as process/product owner role for processes transferred from MF or customers. To deliver KPIs right from process setup, qualification, tapeout, prototype to mass production phase.

Job Description

• To meet key process/product qual milestones set e.g. Tapeouts (NTO/RTO), PRS matching, ERA, WAT/yield matching, HTOL/ESD/Latchup etc
• Co-work with transfer team and Fab modules to deliver robust integrated process to enable a successful production volume ramp from development/pilot stage.
• Key Fab interface role working directly with customers to address their needs, product performance in terms WAT/yield, conference calls and customer audits etc
• Own process FMEA, PCP for processes under your ownership.
• Own SPC and CITs with modules/QA on inline and WAT Cp/Cpk/OOC performances to meet Fab and customer’s index.
• Manage daily ops related logistics in terms of inline/WAT disposition with related parties to enable smooth wafer shipment.
• To co-work with product engineer to perform device/process corner splits to check out product yield window.

Customer Service (60%)

• Represent OMEGA in dealing with customers’ concerns.

• Monitor and review master construction program and preparation of catch-up program, if applicable.

• Plan and maintain inventory of spare parts, fuel, and lubricating oil;

• Deploy vessel staff in close consultation with the Chief Mate and Second Engineer;

• Oversee bunkering procedure and liaise with relevant stakeholders for the delivery of bunker vessel;

• Perform survey work in accordance with Classification Society regulations.

• Possess a valid Certificate of Competency (Marine Engineer Officer) Class 1; and
