Openings are available for Experienced Associates to Senior Associate with the relevant experience, for working across both Energy & Utilities and Transport and Mobility practices

The successful candidate is expected to undertake the following scope of work:

• Providing strategic, commercial and financial advice spanning the lifecycle of infrastructure projects to major corporate, public sector entities and infrastructurefunds; service offerings of the team include the likes of:

1. public sector PPP procurement
2. bid/sell-side transaction advisory, capital raising advisory, project development advisory
3. financial feasibility, business case, commercial model study, market analysis
4. project finance model build, model review policy and regulatory advisory

• Working in a dynamic team environment on infrastructure projects across various sectors across energy & utilities, transport and mobility
• Support on project/engagement management, client communication
• Assisting in marketing and business development including proposal preparation and building client relationships
• Liasing with other business units of KPMG including, but not limited to, Tax, Accounting and Transaction Services.

What to expect

As a Senior Manager in Accuracy, you will find yourself immersed in some of the most interesting and complex infrastructure projects in the world, in a variety of sectors such as transport, utilities, renewables and other infrastructure projects. You will work as part of a team of industry experts within Accuracy, solving complex business issues across the lifecycle of their infrastructure projects – from inception, business case planning, through to procurement, construction and operation. Your role might include:

• Supporting clients in initiating complex projects, including assessing the viability of projects and the impact that projects might have on society and the organisations delivering them;
• Establishing the structures to design, build, finance and operate projects, including effective procurement using a public, private partnership (PPP) framework;
• Transforming projects that are underway, looking into their governance and reporting structures, to maximise the likelihood of being delivered to original intent and objectives and delivered successfully; and
• Working with project owners and contractors to navigate challenging situations that arise during delivery and operation of projects which allow clients to understand how their projects have gone wrong (e.g. delay and cost overruns) and recommend mitigations to bring the project back on track.

Requirements

• An outstanding academic track record (2:1 or above) in Business and/or Engineering-related field
• Demonstrate experience in the lifecycle of a typical infrastructure project – can include experience in infrastructure feasibility studies, infrastructure project management and delivery or advising on projects in relation to procurement and project finance
• Experience in PPP projects, concessions and/or operational projects – Bid Side and/or Government Advisory experience would be preferred
• A demonstrable ability to analyse complex infrastructure project situations, and an ambition to become and expert advisor on projects
• A track-record in establishing effective relationships with clients and/or business managers

• Review and approve shop drawings for RC and temporary works (e.g., struts, walers), and collaborate with consultants, the construction team, and authorities.
• In charge of structural design of temporary works, including scaffolding, falsework, and formwork.
• Take the lead or assist the project department in addressing design-related issues, while managing and resolving production, quality, design, engineering, and scheduling challenges.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 7 years of infrastructure project experience in structural design.
• Proficient in STADD, AutoCAD, and Microstation.

• Manage Standardized Work Chart (SWC), subcontractors, and site staff to ensure on-time project completion and update clients, consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders on project progress.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with multiple project teams of software R&D, quality engineers, and partners to deliver quality upfront, end-to-end quality validation in the Cloud and App solution releases for printers that are an embedded SW device.
