• Cabling & Infrastructure Management: Manage the installation, relocation, and testing of patch cabling for systems and network hardware, maintaining organized and effective cabling practices.
• Vendor Coordination:Collaborate with facilities, electrical, and communications vendors to facilitate the installation of infrastructure elements such as power circuits, cabinets, and network components.
• Network & SAN Infrastructure Support: Assist in coordinating the installation and management of network configurations and SAN cabling, ensuring that performance and reliability standards are met.
• Consumables Management: Oversee the management of critical consumables (cables, labels, rail kits, etc.) to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

What are we looking for

The ideal candidate will have -

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in data center infrastructure, network hardware, and communications systems implementation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of data center environments, including PDUs, RPPs, SANs, and network infrastructures.
• Understanding of complex inter-networked environments, such as Ethernet, TwinAx (100GigE, 25GigE, 10Gig, 100M etc) token ring, and WAN technologies (OC-x, DS-x).
• Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols, subnetting, and WAN technologies.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve system and network-related issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with vendors, team members, and stakeholders.
• Experience in managing or coordinating technical infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• While not required, familiarity with the Financial Services industry is a plus.

• Monitor and oversee the entire IT operation and ensure all day-to-day activities are addressed according to the requirements.

Transition Manager:

A transition manager with application and infrastructure experience is responsible for overseeing and managing the successful transition of business applications and infrastructure systems from one state to another. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders, including project managers, technical teams, and business users, to ensure a smooth transition process.

Job Responsibilities:

• Planning and Coordination: Developing and implementing transition plans and strategies for application and infrastructure projects. This includes defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborating with project managers, technical teams, and business users to understand their requirements and expectations. Ensuring effective communication and managing relationships with all stakeholders throughout the transition process.
• Risk Management: Identifying and assessing potential risks and issues that may arise during the transition. Developing mitigation plans and strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure a seamless transition.
• Resource Management: Allocating and managing resources effectively to ensure that project deliverables are met within the agreed timelines and budget. This includes coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure the availability of necessary resources.
• Testing and Validation: Working closely with technical teams to plan and execute testing activities for applications and infrastructure systems. Ensuring that all systems are thoroughly tested and validated before transitioning to production environments.
• Documentation and Reporting: Creating comprehensive documentation, including transition plans, project status reports, and post-transition reports. Providing regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and any deviations from the plan.
• Change Management: Implementing change management processes to ensure that all changes to applications and infrastructure systems are properly documented, approved and implemented in a controlled manner.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the transition process. Conducting post-transition reviews to identify lessons learned and implement improvements for future projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Project Management, PMP or related field
• Minimum 1 - 2 years of transition and management experience
• Experience in infrastructure and applications

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, troubleshoot and support servers or virtual machines (Hyper-V / VMware) running on Windows Server operating systems.
• Perform system maintenance, upgrade, patches and incident resolution outside of working hours when required.
• Monitoring and implementing backup solutions for critical systems and data regularly.
• Implement and maintain IT security measures and best practices for systems and address security incidents with latest security trends.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects, ranging from system upgrades to new system deployments.
• Create and update technical documentation pertaining to systems administration for on-premise systems, Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Any related ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirement:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a System Engineer or Server Administrator.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Virtualization, Patch Management, Microsoft Entra and Microsoft 365.
• Experience in cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
• Possess excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.
