Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team and support data centre projects. This role is ideal for fresh university graduates who have a foundational understanding of mechanical engineering and have completed at least one internship in a related field. The successful candidate will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical systems in data centre environments, working alongside experienced engineers and project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Support: Assist with the planning and coordination of mechanical systems for data centre projects, ensuring alignment with design specifications and timelines.
• System Installation Oversight: Support the installation of HVAC, cooling systems, and other mechanical infrastructure, following guidance from senior engineers.
• Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to facilitate the smooth installation and integration of mechanical systems.
• Mechanical Systems Testing: Participate in tests and inspections on HVAC and cooling systems to ensure functionality and efficiency.
• Troubleshooting: Support senior engineers in identifying and resolving mechanical issues during installation or post-installation.
• Documentation: Help prepare and update project documentation, including technical reports, drawings, and schedules.
• Collaboration: Work closely with team members, including project managers and electrical engineers, to meet project goals and deliverables.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Assist in ensuring all activities follow local safety standards, codes, and regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Internship Experience: Prior internship experience in mechanical engineering, ideally in a related industry.
• Foundational Knowledge: Basic understanding of HVAC, cooling systems, and mechanical infrastructure.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Willingness to learn and contribute to troubleshooting and solution-finding processes.
• Communication: Good communication skills for collaborating with contractors, vendors, and project teams.

• 3-5 years of experience in network solution design or on-site delivery, preferably in the Singapore market.
• Experience in designing and implementing cloud data centers or campus networks.
• Proficiency in network protocols (BGP, OSPF, SSH, VRRP, STP, NetConf, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with network automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and scripting (Python, Shell).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network environments using tools like Wireshark.
• Deep understanding of network technology and industry trends in the Singapore market.

Meeting with the IT manager to discuss system needs.

Designing and installing computer hardware configurations.

Assist to support Riglobe Products (POS, Digital Signage,CCTV)

The person will be responsible for the maintenance of security / IT systems of customer sites.

You will require ensuring the operational and functional of the system under our scope. Working closely with STEE customer, contractors, vendors and establish well working relationship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Corrective Maintenance works/activities through the following (but not limited to):
• Responsible for the deployed system functionalities and ensure in working condition at all times.
• Provide onsite support on security system related work for the Server, Network, Security related Equipment and Workstation.
• Perform Routine and Corrective Maintenance, software enhancement, bug fixes, testing and commissioning to meet contractual requirements.
• Perform standby duty after office hours as and when required.
• Attend to ad hoc call during and after office hours.
• Working as a team to support operations, ensure optimum uptime and achieve business KPI.
• Collate reports and checklist of PM works for billing purpose and CM works report for filing.
• Prepare/updates service checklist.
• Monitor of spare parts availability to support and meet downtime of system. Monitor of EOL/EOS of equipment installed.
• Co-ordinate with sub-contractors and customer on site matters, work schedule and quality of work.
• Support Contract administration works (Ordering, billing milestone, O&M submission, Operation Manual submission, maintenance checklist and asset list).
• Assist A&A work/ VO work for sites during maintenance cycle.
• Perform other job responsibilities as and when assigned.

Requirements:

• Knowledge in Security/ Server System/ Network equipment would be advantages.
• Able to be on standby or on shift/rotation to attend on-site 24 hours emergency service.
• Possess good analytical skills and ability to communicate with customers at all level.
• The ability to work quickly and under pressure. Good problem-solving skills needed.
