Responsibilities

• Collaborating effectively with team members to deliver high quality audits.
• Maintaining effective and regular communication with senior team members on client engagements.
• Analysing, preparation and review of audit documentation for corporate governance and financial reporting in accordance with applicable frameworks.
• Understanding how our daily work contributes to the priorities of the team and the business.
• Participating in department initiatives.

Qualifications and requirements

• Graduates from Degree/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent, CPA, CA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Experience with data analytic tools is a plus.
• Strong technical accounting skills with proficiency in SFRS and SSA, as well as IFRAS and ISA.
• Good communication, interpersonal, presentation and written skills.
• Able to handle multiple engagements and competing priorities while working with a team.
• Proficient in computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.
• Integrity and professionalism in a professional setting.
• Singapore residency and able to work in Singapore.

Our Client is a SGX Listed company in Hospitality industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Internal Audit Assistant Manager to be part of their Internal Audit team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West Area - easily accessible.

Roles and Responsibilities for Internal Audit Assistant Manager:

• Conduct assigned audit tasks as directed by the Head of Group Internal Audit or a delegate.
• Evaluate, document, and test internal controls within business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare detailed work papers that support audit findings and conclusions.
• Confidently communicate audit results to management.
• Draft concise, accurate, and relevant audit reports.
• Offer technical support to junior team members when needed.
• Recommend improvements to audit procedures by integrating data analytics.
• Assist in handling whistle-blower complaints as directed.
• Perform additional audit reviews and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree in related field
• Minimum of 5 years' internal audit experience in corporate setting
• Experience in listed company
• Certified Internal Auditor is a bonus
