• Prepare tax computations and returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws

Job Requirements:

• At least 6 months of experience in external audit or tax consultancy (Singapore or overseas)
• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or similar fields
• Ability to work independently

The Role

Key responsibilities include conducting audits, implementing consultative procedures, interviewing, reviewing documents, and preparing work papers for internal controls and operational processes audits. Additionally, the candidate would be tasked with communicating project results to the supervisor through oral or written presentations.

Responsibilities

• Leading audit engagements, covering engagement planning, process review, preparation, and review of audit workpapers, audit finalisation reports and financial statements across a portfolio of diversified clients including multinational corporations
• Participating in cross-border engagements and group audits with group/component audit teams and/or Grant Thornton network teams
• Recognising possible audit concerns or unusual relationships based on basic financial statement analysis and report them to the assurance team
• Training and coaching audit team members by conducting timely performance review and providing feedback to them

Qualifications and skills

• At least 3 to 5 years of progressive audit experience.
• Degree/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent; CPA, CA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent is highly desirable
• Experience in Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm is advantageous.
• Strong technical accounting skills with proficiency in SFRS and SSA, as well as IFRS and ISA.
• Singapore residency and be able to work in Singapore.
