Job Description:

• Team member in audit engagements, which include planning, executing risk-based financial and operational audits and completing audit statutory financial audits.
• Obtain a thorough understanding of Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSA) and common audit procedures and techniques.
• Develop a good understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and financial statements presentation and generally accepted accounting principles and other reporting requirements, where applicable.
• Research and analyse financial statements and audit related issues.
• Manage client's expectation and provide timely updates and or feasible solutions on their queries.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs such as MS Word, MS Excel and Office 365.
• Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude.
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines.

- Completing assigned audits in-line with SSAs.

- Compile financial statements and compute corporate tax.

- Performing accounting work.

- Perform special audits and other certifications

- Filing of GST returns.

- Filing of tax returns.

- Establish good relationship with client and constantly improve service delivery.

Your key responsibilities

• Support the planning, execution and delivery of assurance engagements.
• Perform a variety of assigned tasks and audit work procedures for a portfolio of diversified clients in different industries.
• Clearly and accurately document the execution of specific audit procedures as defined by the engagement objectives, planned audit approach and procedures, and global audit methodology.
• Recognize potential audit issues or unusual relationships from basic analysis of the financial statements and related information and communicate them to the assurance team.
