Join our External Audit team and you will help our clients meet their reporting requirements by providing an objective and independent examination of their financial statements. In addition, you will conduct timely and constructive discussions with the management on accounting and reporting matters and provide a robust and clear perspective to audit committees.

Your key responsibilities

· Support the planning, execution and delivery of assurance engagements.

· Clearly and accurately document the execution of specific audit procedures as defined by the engagement objectives, audit client's engagement history, and planned audit approach.

· Recognize potential audit issues or unusual relationships from basic analysis of the financial statements and communicate them to the assurance team.

To qualify for the role you must have

· A degree in Accountancy/ Business related.

· Min 3 year's relevant work experience in the audit field

Ideally, you’ll also have

· Prior working experience in global professional services organization or mid-tier firms will be highly advantageous

About the role

As an Audit Senior, you will play a crucial role in conducting comprehensive external audits for our diverse client base. Reporting to the Audit Manager, you will be responsible for leading audit engagements and providing valuable insights to ensure our clients maintain compliance and financial integrity. This full time position is based in the Paya Lebar East East Region.

What you'll be doing

• Plan and execute external audits, identifying risks and developing effective audit strategies
• Lead audit teams, delegating tasks and providing guidance to junior members
• Analyse financial data, identify discrepancies, and provide clear recommendations for improvements
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business operations and accounting processes
• Prepare detailed audit reports, highlighting findings and suggested remedial actions
• Ensure all audit work is completed in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit procedures and documentation

What we're looking for

• At least 3-5 years' post-qualification experience in external auditing, preferably in a public accounting firm or a similar environment
• Demonstrated expertise in planning, executing, and leading audit engagements
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve complex accounting and financial issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members
• Thorough understanding of relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations
• Proficient in the use of audit software and data analysis tools
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, and a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA)
