RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and review audit program for internal audit assignments on financial controls, operational controls and compliance
• Assess key internal controls and identify control deficiencies and their root causes, and propose appropriate recommendations for improvement in internal control as well as operating effectiveness and/or efficiency
• Roll-out of corporate policies & ensure compliance
• Advise business stakeholders on risks and controls, process improvements in order to maximize business returns
• Deliver internal control & risk management reports
• Prepare and maintain audit reports for the review of Audit Committee and management
• Perform any ad-hoc investigation if needed
• Ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by the management

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree holder in Accountancy or other related disciplines
• CPA holder with prior external auditing experience with Big4 or 2nd tier audit firm is a MUST
• With a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in internal audit, preferably in entertainment or retail Industry
• Good command of English and Chinese/Mandarin (both written & spoken) - GV HQ based in Hong Kong, the right candidate will be dealing with chinese-speaking clients.
• Able to work independently as an Individual contributor role
• Strong business sense, detail-minded with good communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the Internal Audit Team in reviewing and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of risk management, control and governance process for the company.
• Conduct internal audits, operational functions and / or financial areas throughout the company effectively and report on results / findings.
• During the planning of the audit, identifies and assesses risks, key controls and testing approach. Responsible for completing assigned sections of the audit in accordance with stated timeframes and Departmental Standards.
• Applies analytical skills to review information, perform assessments of the audit results and on the adequacy of controls.
• Demonstrates teamwork by responsively cooperating with the team members, sharing information and ideas, accepting constructive feedback, and accepting additional assignments when appropriate.

Requirements:

• A degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance or related fields. Professional certifications (e.g CFA, FRM, CIA) would be an advantage.
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in audit function, with credit risk, models or with direct experience as a practitioner in model development/validation will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of model risk and regulatory requirements.
• Good analytical, written & verbal communication, collaborative and presentation skills.
• Good knowledge of data analytics/programming/statistics would be an advantage.
• Strong report writing skills
• Good interpersonal & communication skills.
