The Individual and their Experience:

· Excellent hands-on experience on incident analysis using SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, IBM QRadar.

· Hands on experience on any Endpoint Protection (EPP) or Endpoint Detection Response (EDR) technologies. Preferred if Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike.

· Exposure to firewall technologies such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet.

Purpose of the Job

• Lead the development of IT strategy and take overall ownership for the development and delivery of IT services to support business strategy priorities

Key Accountabilities

• Strategic IT Planning- Translate AET business strategy into IT strategy. Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems across the organization while ensuring maximum return on investment
• IT Leadership - Lead and manage the IT function. Take ownership of all IT solution delivery and services support activities
• IT Management – Lead and direct all the activities related to IT management – Supplier Management, Solution delivery, Management and Control, Security and Risk Management, IT Finance and IT Workforce Management
• Program & Project Management – Facilitate the delivery of projects while balancing priorities, scope, approach, deliverables, milestones , risks and detailed resource and work plans
• People Management - Provide management, coaching, leadership, development and direction to the solution delivery team
• Work Planning and Resource Management - Develop work plan to determine the required tasks and resources (process, functional, etc.) for complex projects spanning the entire organization
• Technology Trends - Keep current with trends and issues in the IT industry, including current technologies and prices. Advise, counsel, and educate executives on the management of their competitiveness through adoption of technology trends. Drive smarter technology investments in the organization
• Procedures and Standards - Direct the preparation, documentation, implementation and review of policies, procedures and standards for applications
• Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong partnerships with the business and application owners and other IT managers. Work with business management to identify and prioritise application support needs, issues and development projects.
• Application Development & Testing - Plan, oversee and manage global and/or regional software application selection and implementations to ensure minimal disruption to day-to-day business activities. Responsibilities include implementation and upgrade schedules, testing, stakeholder and change management, resourcing, communication, regional integration or specific functionality/use
• Supplier Relationship Management - Lead identification and appointment of relevant supplier contacts, oversee supplier compliance and escalate problems using standard escalation procedures. Maintain a relationship with the supply manager to manage effectively application and human resource scheduling.
• Demand planning and management. Project portfolio prioritization and strategic alignment. Customer relationship management.
• Manage IT capex and opex
• Capable of executing Crisis Management Responsibilities as required by role

Qualifications

• Education: Any Bachelor’s degree preferably Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline

Experience:

• 10+ years of management experience
• 12+ years of experience in Solution Delivery, Service Delivery
• 10+ years in business facing role
• Ability to translate business vision into IT vision, objectives and programs
• Strong knowledge of core IT (Infrastructure, Applications) , business processes and IT supplier community
• Experience in IT Budgeting
• Proven leadership and management skills
• 10+ years of experience in Demand Management

Able to provide quality and efficient IT support to company, Regular hardware and software maintenance to make sure company IT infrastructure and system running smoothly. Work on IT projects within company or work with external party.

Provide IT support operation on daily basis, include below activities:

• IT asset management (include the hardware and software) – maintain all company IT asset with proper traceability record;
• Support HR on all employee on-board/off-board process including IT training;
• Provide all IT system setup and admin work; (file control, VPN setup and special software admin work support);
• IT Level 1 helpdesk support to all company staff include remote user from worldwide, it could be PC issue, office printer, phone system or network related issues;
• Troubleshooting AD/DC, Exchange server, File Server and Application server issues and provide a solution.
• Troubleshoot and configure the firewall, router and switch when issues arises.
• Escalate to 3rd party IT support vendor if issue couldn’t be fixed within same day, coordinate with IT support vendor resolve issues within TAT, document down for all IT issues and solutions in return document;
• Liaise with IT vendor management, include IT hardware/software quotation, costing, P-R process and make proposal if any recommend system tools).

System maintenance work on regular basis, include below activities:

• All System backup (File server backup, NAS storage backup, offline backup activity), verify all system backup files are working properly;
• Coordinate with department head on storage Clean up include File server, SharePoint and NetApp;
• Monitor Server room temperature and humidity, and make sure all server related equipment (E.g.: UPS) are working under good condition;
• Pulse check all on server, router and firewall log and flag out all abnormal activities immediately;
• Regular update antivirus related tools and window related system patches.

IT governance and direction:

• Maintain all IT related record (contract, agreement, software authorization, etc.) and regularly updates or renew on time;
• Assist external or internal auditor on IT compliance or ISO related audit;
• Evaluate vendor proposal and provide justification to management.

IT related projects management (Ad Hoc or on-going) and provide weekly basis updates to management):

• IT project plan, budgeting and proposal;
• IT project deployment after project approved;
• IT project verification and provide necessary training to end user;
• IT project sign off and documentation.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements
• Diploma in IT related discipline with at least 3-years relevant experience in IT support or maintenance experience
• Hands on IT support working experience include Desktop/Laptop support, Printer, Lan/Wan, Router, Switches, Firewall Support
• MCSE in Windows Server and RHCSA in Linux server or equivalent hands on working experience
• CGEIT preferred or IT governance working experience in IT policy or security
• International IT project management experience
• SAP working experience good to have
• Able to remotely support regional IT issue (CN, TW), Both English and Mandarin read and write required
• Good negotiation/communication skill with IT contractor or external IT supplier

The Senior / Systems Analyst will work closely with service leads and business stakeholders to identify roadmap of Information Technology (IT) solutions and enhancements.
