The Department

The Position

The IT support individual will provide effective IT assistance across all aspects of the business and will provide backup and support to the IT Manager. Candidates should have a thorough technical understanding of all major current camera and audio systems and their accessories.

Prior experience working for a production company, broadcaster or educational establishment running an equipment ‘cage’ is a distinct advantage.

Duties include but are not limited to:

1. Routine daily cleaning, maintenance and repair of camera and audio systems.

2. Preparation of equipment for shoot and receiving / checking equipment after shoot.

3. Liaison with equipment servicing and repair centers.

4. Maintaining good relationships with Singapore equipment rental houses, including keeping up to date records of equipment rental rates.

5. Maintaining current research and technical information on commonly used camera systems.

6. Providing advice and recommendations to Producers regarding most suitable camera systems for specialized projects.

7. On-set / location camera assisting and set-up of data-wrangling and video village systems.

8. Purchase of new cameras and sale of decommissioned cameras.

For IT Administration & Support:

Candidates should have experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies and solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security. Candidates should also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Duties include but are not limited to:

2.⁠ ⁠Monitor and maintain networks and servers

3.⁠ ⁠Deploy and enforce security policies and procedures

4.⁠ ⁠Onboard and offboard employees

5.⁠ ⁠Fulfill IT service requests and technical assistance to end users

6.⁠ ⁠Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware and connection issues

7.⁠ ⁠Maintain knowledge of IT support, help desk procedures, products, and services

8.⁠ ⁠Document processes, back up and archive data

9.⁠ ⁠Keep up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration⁠
